France Makes Major Shift Toward Fascism In Wake Of Paris Terror Attacks

Michael Lotfi (TRUTHINMEDIA): Ahead of planned United Nations climate talks, the French government is utilizing emergency laws put in place after November’s Paris terror attack to hold climate activists under house arrest.
Immediately after the November terror attacks, the French government declared a state of emergency based on a rarely used 1955 law that allows the state to conduct warrant-less searches of private property, impose curfews, restrict public gatherings and movements of people, confiscate weapons at will and take over the press.
Legal activist Joel Domenjoud said he had been served with a restraining order describing him as a “principal leader of the ultra-left movement,” a title he disputes, only a couple hours after a judge refused to hear an appeal against the ban on the climate demo Domenjoud had petitioned for. A neighbor informed Domenjoud that a swam of police were lined up the stairs waiting for him to arrive home.
“I feel angry about it because I think they made a big mistake,” Domenjoud said. “They weren’t looking for people like us activists– or if they were, it shows that they can target people for no reason at all and our civil liberties are in danger.”

Censorship For Thee, But Not For Me: The Feminist Battle Cry

By Janet Bloomfield (aka JudgyBitch): The recent shooting at the Colorado Springs abortion facility Planned Parenthood has left feminists wailing and stamping their feet with typical, toddler-esque demands that reflect their principle concept of reality: make the bad people go away, Daddy! My purpose today is not to discuss abortion or vigilante justice or what constitutes a person, but rather to examine the feminist reaction to the shooting, and consider that in lieu of their own behavior towards groups they don’t like. I think it’s worth noting that the mindset of people who pick up guns and shoot abortion providers is not hard to understand: they genuinely, truly believe that abortion is murder, and they are engaged in stopping mass murder.

Let’s take a moment here and examine the charge that anyone who opposes abortion is automatically a misogynist. I think this charge is garbage, for two reasons: first, half (perhaps even more than half) the babies being aborted are girls. Fighting to protect the lives of unborn girls who will become women is, by definition, not misogyny. You may not agree that unborn humans are, in fact, human, but that doesn’t matter: the people who think life begins at conception do, and that is the perspective we are considering. Second, if men were the ones who got pregnant, and the ones having abortions, I sincerely doubt the abortion opposition would care. They are opposing what they see as outright murder of the person in utero, not the gender of the person committing murder.

The USA Freedom Act, which claimed to put an end to the National Security Agency’s controversial collection of metadata from Americans’ phone calls, was just a placebo pill intended to make us feel better and let the politicians take credit for reforming mass surveillance.
In other words, it was a sham, a sleight-of-hand political gag pulled on a gullible public desperate to believe that we still live in a constitutional republic rather than a down-and-out, out-of-control, corporate-controlled, economically impoverished, corrupt, warring, militarized banana republic.

HIV Infection Higher Among Circumcised Swaziland Men

By APA: A study has shown that circumcised men have a higher HIV infection rate than uncircumcised men since 2007 when the Government of Swaziland introduced a policy on male circumcision, APA reports.
The study availed to APA Sunday morning states that out of the 305 circumcised men who were interviewed 21.8 percent were HIV positive compared to the 19.5 percent of uncircumcised men who were also interviewed and tested.
