Eric Sprott: Real 2012 US Deficit $6.9 Trillion- Not Reported Anywhere By The Public Press!
The Doc: In
the midst of the latest epic cartel paper gold and silver raid this
week, legendary precious metals expert Eric Sprott sat down with The Doc
for an exclusive, MUST LISTEN interview.
In one of his best and most shocking interviews ever, Eric discusses the latest gold and silver raid, his take on the platinum & palladium markets, the Bundesbank’s recent gold repatriation request and the correlation with massive physical gold buying in Asia, and his view on how the endgame of the Western financial/ debt crisis will play out.
Sprott stated that the Treasury Department’s 2012 GAAP budget deficit report was an astonishing $6.9 Trillion, and this has not been reported in 1 single major news outlet! He also stated that the US government may be exporting German gold from the NY Fed to China, and that despite their recent apparent success, he expects that one day soon the cartel will be brought to their knees simply by traders standing for delivery of physical metal.

Why Wasn’t There a Chinese Spring?
By Steve Hess: Although sharing many of the same problems as Arab societies, the Arab Spring never arrived in Beijing. Why?
It has now been two years since the self-immolation of the Tunisian street vendor, Mohamed Bouazizi, provided the spark that set the Arab world aflame. A wave of protests spread throughout the region in quick succession and led to the overthrow of long ruling autocrats in Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Libya, and possibly Syria.
The collapse of regimes like Hosni Mubarak’s in Egypt, which many considered “an exemplar of…durable authoritarianism” was a salient reminder to many that such revolutions are “inherently unpredictable.” Before long some began to speculate that the protest movements might spread to authoritarian states outside the Arab world, including China. Indeed, the Chinese government was among those that feared the unrest would spread to China because, as one observer noted, China faced the same kind of “social and political tensions caused by rising inequality, injustice, and corruption” that plagued much of the Arab world on the eve of the uprisings.
Alas it was not to be as the Chinese government has proven far more durable than many of its counterparts in the Arab world. This inevitably raises the question of what factors differentiated the Chinese government from its Arab counterparts in places like Egypt?

EUROBLOWN: Olli Rehn and the Spanish Inquisition
Thus the austerity which was always going to kill growth produced a shortfall, but somehow Olli judged it to be unexpected and in need of verification. Is it just me, or do other Europeans resent paying even 0.001% (let alone 20%) of their taxes to employ the reincarnation of Mad Professor Jerry Lewis in a position of EU-wide fiscal responsibility? In fact, I am here to tell you that this is a somewhat Lewisist observation, given that Dean Martin’s long-time comedy partner was actually a very bright man indeed. Olli Rehn is a very stupid man, but can you imagine him trying to act stupid and make it funny? No, neither can I.

Disgrace: This Is How The Great Money Printing Experiment Will End
KWN: ...how do you see this great money printing experiment ending?”
I think for a system to change without revolution or significant social upheaval is very difficult. Full story/audio interview/source
“Now will it just trigger a correction or a more serious bear market in asset prices? Who knows? Once this happens, since most of the economic activity was supported by the rise in asset markets, I suppose they will print more money, and again have larger deficits.
So we don’t know exactly when the end will come. It could be 1 year from now, 3, 5, 10 years from now, but obviously one day it will come to an end. The longer it’s not seriously addressed, and the way I look at Congress they are not going to undertake serious decisions any time soon, the longer it’s not addressed the more structural damage will be done to the economy, and to society.

Al-Qaeda's 22 Tips For Evading Drones
Submitted by Tyler Durden: This document is one of several found by The Associated Press
in buildings recently occupied by Al-Qaeda fighters in Timbuktu, Mali.
Written by Abdullah bin Mohammed, apparently with God’s help, with the
goal "of disabling the new strategy of the American army at the medium
or long-range levels," through three methods: the formation of a public opinion to stand against the attacks, deterring of spies, and tactics of deception and blurring. These 22 tactics are as follows...
- It is possible to know the intention and the mission of the drone by using the Russian-made “sky grabber” device to infiltrate the drone’s waves and the frequencies. The device is available in the market for $2,595 and the one who operates it should be a computer-know-how.
- Using devices that broadcast frequencies or pack of frequencies to disconnect the contacts and confuse the frequencies used to control the drone. The Mujahideen have had successful experiments using the Russian-made “Racal.”
- Spreading the reflective pieces of glass on a car or on the roof of the building.
- Placing a group of skilled snipers to hunt the drone, especially the reconnaissance ones because they fly low, about six kilometers or less.
- Jamming of and confusing of electronic communication using the ordinary water-lifting dynamo fitted with a 30-meter copper pole.

ACLU appeals order allowing censorship of torture testimony during Guantanamo military commission
By Madison Ruppert: The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed a petition with the
U.S. Court of Military Commissions Review appealing a Guantánamo
military judge’s order allowing the government to censor any testimony
that touches on the torture, rape and abuse of detainees in U.S. custody.
The trial at issue here has been plagued by problems including the accusations of intentional censorship when the audio feed was cut and accusations from the defense alleging that the U.S. government is spying on them and violating attorney-client confidentiality.
The ACLU filed the petition (PDF) asserting the public’s First Amendment right to open trials which they claim has been violated by the protective order issued by Military Judge Col. James Pohl in December.
While the petition was filed late February 21, 2013, it was only made public this afternoon “after undergoing a security review by the government,” according to the ACLU’s press release.
Pohl’s order contains provisions that allow for the categorical censorship of any testimony from the defendants that touches on their personal experiences and memories of “enhanced interrogation techniques,” rendition and detention by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) on the grounds that it was classified.
Pohl’s order also legitimized the continued use of a 40-second delay on the audio feed of the proceedings, further allowing for censorship of the trial.
