US, Russian Defense Chiefs Hold Hour-Long Call In First Since Ukraine War Began

Pentagon recently pretended to express alarm that the Russian side was rejecting calls, after the US had been completely blanking Russian diplomats for months.

By Tyler Durden: On Friday Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin spoke with his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoygu for the first time since the invasion of Ukraine which began on Feb.24. The last time the two spoke was less than two weeks prior to the war kicked off, on Feb.18.

A month ago the Pentagon confirmed it sill had a military-to-military hotline with the Russian side, but that there was no contact at senior levels. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby voiced concern in late March: “But at the senior levels, where we think it’s really important particularly right now, that’s not happening. And it’s not happening because the Russians don’t seem to be interested in listening to our bullshit anymore.”

The Real Reason Behind EU's Drive To Embargo Russian Oil

The bigger Davos plan of destroying the old global order to Build it Back Better, where they own everything and you will own nothing and like it or else, is the script...

Authored by Tom Luongo: This week the European Union is expected to announce a complete import ban on Russian oil. Hungary, in its first real act of defiance, is threatening to veto this; Germany, after some hemming and hawing, has finally decided it can survive such a ban.

Assuming Hungary’s objections are eventually overcome, at first blush this looks like yet another energy “own goal” by the people obsessed with soccer. The U.S. has already issued this ban.

Because European industry is heavily dependent on Russian oil and gas, the conventional wisdom is that the EU Commission is just petulant and incompetent.

Are they petulant? Yes. Incompetent? Possibly? But only if you think in conventional terms of doing the right thing for their people. What is clear to any serious observer of EU politics is that they are not interested in what their people have to say or want.

Theirs is an agenda which will brook no opposition, even if it means destroying its own economy to bring a rival to its knees.

The Queen's Church Wants Trannies To Join Its Sodomite Priests, Russian Church Suggests They Visit A Psychiatrist

Leading Anglican bishops are inviting transgender applicants to join sodomites in the priesthood. Meanwhile, leading Russian Orthodox bishops call transgenderism a mental disorder. Queen Elizabeth, Supreme Governor of the Church of England, has not yet released a public statement about Trannies.

By Joshua Davidson: One man's mental health diagnosis may be another man's ticket to the priesthood, according to recent developments in one of the world's largest Protestant denominations. The Anglican Communion has 85 million members worldwide, all of whom have ties with the Church of England.

To support a new Diversity Drive, and to help fill vacant spots in English churches, leading Anglican bishops have invited transgender persons to serve as priests. The Daily Telegraph reports:

The guidance, titled "welcoming and honouring LGBT+ people", warns that the church's reputation as being unwelcoming towards gay and transgender people is stopping young people attending.

Dr. Rand Paul Delays Vote On $40 Billion Ukraine World War 3 Blood Money, Calls For Spending Oversight

"My oath of office is to the U.S. Constitution, not to any foreign nation..."

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Thursday delayed the Senate’s vote to pass a nearly $40 billion World War 3 Blood Money for Ukraine v Russia.

Authored by Katabella Roberts: While leaders were unanimous in their agreement to proceed with passing the package this week, Paul refused to do so until changes are made to the legislation that will ensure an inspector general can monitor exactly how the billions of dollars are being spent.

The legislation has been approved by the House and has strong bipartisan support in the Senate, and is still likely to pass.

However, Paul’s objection signified a departure from the overwhelmingly supportive stance that Congress and the Biden administration have so far shown for Ukraine as Russia continues with her “special military operation.”

“The Fraud Squad” Doesn’t Exist Outside Of Social Media

'The US doesnt have political parties, it has perception management operations disguised as political parties.'

By Caitlin Johnstone: The US House of Representatives has voted 368-57 to spend $40 billion on a world-threatening proxy war while ordinary Americans struggle to feed themselves and their children. All 57 “no” votes were Republicans. Every member of the small faction of progressive House Democrats popularly known as “The Squad” voted yes.

The massive proxy war bill then went to the Senate, where it was stalled with scrutiny not from progressive superstar Bernie Sanders, but from Republican Rand Paul.
