Question 1– To what extent has the war in Ukraine accelerated the move to a new global realignment?

Paul Craig Roberts– It was Washington’s economic sanctions against Russia, the theft of Russia’s central bank reserves, and the theft of Venezuela’s gold, not the conflict in Ukraine, that weaponized the US dollar and resulted in global realignment.

The limited Russian intervention in Donbas was Putin’s belated eight-year-delayed response to the US coup that overthrew the government of Ukraine in 2014 and installed a government hostile to Russia and to the Russian population that had been incorporated into the Ukraine province of the Soviet Union by Soviet leaders. The intervention was forced on Putin by the United States’ buildup of a large Ukraine army poised to overthrow the self-declared Donbas republics.

Petitioner number 3 is on the cleaning staff at Hadassah Medical Center, Ein Karem. Plaintiff number 1 is a remodeling contractor and number 2 is his wife. They all live together in a dilapidated apartment in the Shoafat refugee camp in Jerusalem.

Israel intends to demolish their home, and they appealed to the High Court of Justice in a futile attempt to reverse this contemptible decree. The High Court, in its capacity as the highest military court in Israel, approved the demolition on Thursday. Nothing could have been more predictable.

Every few weeks, High Court justices are called up for reserve duty. This occurs when they hear petitions against the defense establishment. They don’t put on military uniforms, as would be appropriate, or wear officer insignia – but the court is clothed in khaki, functioning exactly like the military court at the Ofer military base. It’s hard to distinguish any differences between the High Court justices and every last military judge, ordered to approve any injustice.

Indeed, at the Jackson Hole symposium over the weekend, ECB President Lagarde re-upped her comments from April by suggesting that “there are plausible scenarios where we could see a fundamental change in the nature of economic interactions”, “past regularities may no longer be a good guide for how the economy works” and “there is no pre-existing playbook for the situation we are facing.” Translation: “we really don’t know if rates are high enough or not, and that isn’t really the point anyway.”

So, according the second most senior central banker in the world we’re in uncharted waters, and as anyone who has ever taken an interest in the Age of Discovery will know, once you reach the edge of the known world, here be dragons.

Authored by T.J. Muscaro: A movement is gaining momentum to pressure Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, county sheriffs, and the Florida Legislature to ban COVID-19 vaccines and all other mRNA vaccines in the state.

Republican executive committees in nine Florida counties—the local arms of the Republican Party of Florida—have adopted a resolution asking Mr. DeSantis and lawmakers to prohibit the sale and distribution of the vaccines in Florida.

The 83-page resolution also asks state Attorney General Ashley Moody to immediately seize all remaining vaccine supplies and conduct a forensic analysis of them.

The so-called "Ban the Jab" resolution adopted by the local Republican executive committees was written by psychotherapist Joseph Sansone.
