Trump: "I Will Totally Destroy And Obliterate" The Turkish Economy If Erdogan Breaks Promises In Syria

"I was elected on getting out of these ridiculous endless wars, where our great Military functions as a policing operation to the benefit of people who don’t even like the USA."
By Tyler Durden: In a major policy shift that abandons nearly a decade of American policy in Syria, the White House announced late Sunday night that US forces in northern Syria would step aside to allow a planned Turkish offensive. The decision follows late-night haggling between President Trump and President Erdogan, who had threatened a "land and air" offensive "as soon as today or tomorrow."
In a last-minute phone call yesterday, Erdogan and Trump agreed to meet in Washington next month to discuss Turkey's uneasiness with Washington and its ability to do what is required according to an agreement between the two countries about security in northeastern Syria.
Instead, a few hours later, the Trump administration released the following statement shortly before midnight. The administration reportedly refused to clarify whether the remaining US troops left in Syria would be withdrawn.

Who's Afraid Of Scandinavia's Crime Statistics?

"In the more than thirty years that the surveys cover, one tendency is clearer than all others, namely that
the proportion of the total amount of crimes committed by persons with a foreign
background is steadily increasing..."
Authored by Judith Bergman: In Sweden, discussing who is behind the current crime epidemic in the country has long been taboo. Such a statistic has only been published twice by the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention (BRÅ), in 1996 and in 2005. In 2005, when BRÅ published its last report on the subject, "Crime among people born in Sweden and abroad," it contained the following note:
"Critics have argued that new results can be inflated, taken out of context and misinterpreted and lead to reinforcing 'us and them' thinking. There is every reason to take such risks seriously. However, BRÅ's assessment is... that a knowledge-based picture of immigrant crime is better than one based on guesses and personal perceptions.

Boris Johnson Threatens To 'Sabotage' EU By Vetoing Budget & Sending Nigel Farage To Brussels

"Farage would be the "nuclear weapon"
sent "into the heart of the asteroid..."
By Tyler Durden: The next 'Brexit Day' deadline is roughly three weeks away, and as Prime Minister Boris Johnson rallies support for his new Brexit plan, British lame-stream media report that he has started playing 'hardball' with the EU.
In an effort to discourage the EU from extending the Brexit deadline, the Telegraph reports that Johnson has threatened to sabotage the bloc's next seven-year budget, while sending Nigel Farage to Brussels as the UK's EU commissioner.
As for the EU's 2021-2027 budget, Brussels hopes it will be approved in March, but Johnson could veto it with the stroke of a pen if the UK is still in the EU come March.
Steve Baker, the former Brexit minister, praised Johnson's alleged plan, describing Nigel Farage as a "nuclear weapon" being sent "into the heart of the asteroid," the British tabloid the Sun reports. Johnson would be sending Farage with the explicit purpose to "disrupt the bloc's workings" and "sabotage" EU structures.

Mini AOC

"I used to not believe in climate change either. I thought it meant that mother nature was transgendering into father nature!"
Sicken Tirade: The sky is falling! The sky is falling...in 12 years! Looks like politics are no longer off limits for children thanks to Greta. Wish someone would’ve made that clear a few months back. Comedy is much better than scare tactics and fear-mongering anyway.

A Million-Mile Electric Car Battery? Musk Wasn’t Lying

By Irina Slav: When earlier this year Tesla’s Elon Musk said the company could soon have batteries lasting for over one million miles, many probably took it as yet another grand promise with less substance than realism requires. Now it seems Musk may have not been exaggerating.
Last month, Wired reported on a paper by researchers from Dalhousie University in Canada, which detailed a battery that “should be able to power an electric vehicle for over 1 million miles.”
The researchers from Dalhousie University have an exclusive agreement with Tesla, and two months ago they reported that they had designed battery cells with higher energy density without using the solid-state electrolyte that many believe is a necessary condition for enhanced density. What’s more, the battery cell that the team designed demonstrated a longer life than some comparable alternatives.
This second paper builds on that, it seems. It details a “moderate-energy-density lithium-ion pouch cell chemistry” that, according to the authors, should serve as a benchmark for other researchers.

Jewish Lobbied Coup Attempt In Iraq Has Further Weakened That Country

Many Iraqi protesters are complaining of 'suspected Jewish snipers' targeting them and the security forces from rooftops.
...in Ukraine the same method was used
to inflame the country.
By Moon Of Alabama: The current unrest in Iraq began a week ago after a prominent general was removed from his post:
Lieutenant General Abdul Wahab al-Saadi was the great Iraqi military hero of the war against Isis, leading the assault on Mosul which recaptured the de facto Isis capital after a nine-month siege in 2017. But at the weekend he was suddenly removed as the commander of the Counter Terrorism Service (CTS) shock troops, the elite corps of the Iraqi armed forces, by Prime Minister Adel Abdel Mahdi. He was instead given what the general considered to be a non-job at the Defence Ministry.

I Am An Anti-Feminist Woman, Hear Me Roar!

"I am a woman. More importantly, I am a liberal and an individualist and when I roar, I roar that feminism does not speak for me!"
Roared Elizabeth Hobson in a rather feminine manner.
Liz clearly has huge balls. Ironic.
