By sv: Sandy will help lead to a new precious metals paradigm which will thrust the US forward into a new stage dilapidation. The fallacy that devastation can be a net gain is a moral hazard of the modern mind, and must be put into perspective. Suffering cannot help the “economy,” because the economy is merely the action resulting from the cognition of individuals. The stress of devastation will weigh on the public, and can thus only contribute to their overworked and tired conditions. Suchness cannot contribute to the controlled, rigid totalitarian commerce. Sandy & the new precious metals paradigm will only unfold in the midst of continued deterioration of the fabric of the US.
Money will have to be printed as millions are fighting day-after-day in the wake of the hurricane to get to work. Many of them won’t make it to work, which will affect GDP. Individuals and families are being forced to stand in line for hours just to get a little gas (basically as much as they can carry). Public transportation is compromised and when you can catch a subway, prepare for a situation that’ll turn your hair gray, if the culture hasn’t already done so to it.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) was criticized by U.K.
judges for posting a notice on its website about a lawsuit with
Samsung Electronics Co. that was “untrue” and “incorrect.”
The U.K. Court of Appeal in London ordered Apple to remove
the statement within 24 hours and replace it with a new notice
acknowledging the inaccurate comments.
“I’m at a loss that a company such as Apple would do
this,” Judge Robin Jacob said yesterday. “That is a plain
breach of the order.”
The decision is the latest in a lawsuit that produced a
July judgment in which another London court said the design for
three Samsung Galaxy tablets didn’t infringe Apple’s registered
design because they were not “cool” enough. Apple, based in
Cupertino, California, was told by the same court last month to
post a notice about the ruling that Samsung’s Galaxy tablets
didn’t copy the design of Apple’s iPad.
The court’s initial order was for a simple notice on its
website about the Oct. 18 judgment meant to correct the
impression Suwon, South Korea-based Samsung had copied Apple’s
product.
Apple’s post, criticized by judges yesterday, inserted four
paragraphs including excerpts of the original “cool” ruling
regarding the tablets’ coolness that appear to favor Apple and
details of German lawsuits about similar issues that the court
yesterday said weren’t true.
The notice created the “impression that the U.K. court is
out of step with other courts,” Henry Carr, Samsung’s lawyer,
said in a filing.
“It was clear the judges were not happy with what Apple
had done,”
By The Doc: According
to NetDania’s volume (which approximates volume from 5 separate sources
and is not an exact indicator of volume data) 38,400 contracts, or 191.99 million ounces of paper silver (nearly a quarter of annual global silver production!) were dumped on the market in only 10 minutes between 8:30 and 8:40am EST upon the release of the NFP data.

$31 has just been penetrated in the 3rd wave of the cartel attack, but price has quickly rebounded from $30.91 to $31.25.
By Richard Cottrell: The situation in the rapidly dematerializing state of Greece is beginning to bear a chilling resemblance to the engineered breakdown of law and order in the Weimar Republic, which paved the way for the Nazi seizure of power.
What little is left of democracy in the wake of the EU-IMF-ECB smash and grab
indicates the country is ripe for a military takeover aided by thuggish
elements supporting the far-right Golden Dawn movement, presently
riding high in the polls as the third-largest electoral force.
Early last year, Golden Dawn was beyond the fringe, a purely nominal
assembly of outsiders, observing the national power play from the
outside in.
Thanks to a series of elections rooted in the austerity crisis and
the consequent rocky state of the economy, it is now a pivotal force to
whom embattled premier Antonis Samaras may well look for support if
matters spin seriously out of control. This is now an odds-on certainty.
A police whistleblower reported in the London Guardian claimed
‘strong pockets’ of Golden Dawn supporters have colonized ELAS, the
national police force. He reckoned that up to 50 or 60 percent of the
national gendarmerie were influenced by the extreme Right wing.
Those few senior officers who demanded a purge of fascist elements in
police ranks were ignored by the authorities who preferred to keep them
‘in reserve’ in case of need.
Press TV: The US mission in
Libya’s eastern city of Benghazi that came under attack in September was
mainly a secret Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operation, a report
says.
The Wall Street Journal said in a report on Friday that of
the 30 US officials evacuated from Benghazi after the attack, only seven
worked for the State Department, highlighting that the mission was
mainly a CIA operation.
The report added that the two security contractors who
were killed in the incident -- former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen
Doherty -- were working for the CIA and not the State Department.
On September 11, clashes broke out at the US consulate in Benghazi
after a group of people held a demonstration against a blasphemous movie
produced in the US which insulted Islam’s Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
US Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three other staff members were killed in the incident.
According to the Wall Street Journal, CIA Director David
Petraeus did not attend the ceremony held for the arrival of the coffins
of the victims in the US allegedly to hide the CIA operation. Source
By Brent Daggett: For nearly three decades, Russell and Patricia Caswell have been the
owners and operators of Motel Caswell in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
However, if the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and the Tewksbury
Police Department have their way, the Caswell’s property could be gone
due to civil forfeiture.
Note: be sure to check out Brent’s other recent articles on jury nullification and ballot access issues for third parties.
Civil forfeiture essentially means the government can take or even
sell your property and not even charge you with a crime, let alone
convict you of one.
The interest on the part of the DEA and Tewksbury police surrounds
some of the guests who over the past 20 years have been arrested for
crimes.
Out of the 125,000 rooms rented out during this time span, only 19
arrests have occurred, which is quite obviously a ludicrously low
percentage of the total guests.
“I think it is quite obvious why the federal government has come
after us and not other businesses,” said Russell “We own a
million-dollar property with no mortgage, so anything they get here,
they get to keep.”
The Caswells will have the libertarian public law firm Institute for Justice (IJ) in their corner when the trial gets underway on November 5 in Boston.
“The Caswells have always worked hard to prevent and stop crime on
their property and they have no criminal record whatsoever,” said
Darpana Sheth, an IJ attorney. “Indeed, the police admit that the
Caswells have no involvement in crime.
Funding for the European Union has sparked a rebellion in the British Parliament. Prime Minister David Cameron's own Conservative backbenchers dealt him the worst defeat since he took power in 2010. Eurosceptic Tories joined forces with the opposition and voted for cutting the UK's cash flow to Brussels. Mark Pritchard believes the EU is inefficient and that Britons should get the chance to vote on whether to stay part of it... Source
Transcription of Finance News Network Interview with JAC Capital Advisors Partner, Jim Rickards at The Gold Investment Symposium in Sydney.
Lelde Smits: Hello,
I’m Lelde Smits for the Finance News Network and joining me today is
American hedge fund adviser Jim Rickards. Jim, welcome to Australia and
to Luna Park here in Sydney. You’ve just given a presentation
titled, ‘The Future of the International Monetary System: Paper, Gold or
Chaos?’ Jim that’s three options, which do you believe is the most
desirable outcome?
Jim Rickards: The most
desirable outcome is probably some kind of gold-backed currency. And, it
doesn’t mean that we’ll all be walking around with gold coins in our
pockets. You can have paper currencies but they can be supported by
gold, and tied in some way. And you can have discretionary monetary
policy, these things are not mutually exclusive. So, I think they would
be the best because it would mean that government’s would stop stealing
from their citizens in the form of inflation.
If you have savings
or retirement, or annuity or an insurance policy, you’re dependent upon
a fixed income or a fixed stream of dollars. If I make those dollars
worth less, it’s exactly like stealing money from you. And that’s what
countries to do their citizens, that’s what government’s do to their
citizens. And, one way to prevent that is to, well, citizens can protect
themselves by buying gold and countries can avoid it in the first
place by having a gold backed standard. So, I think that’s the most
desirable.

The goals are to insure that Muslims adopt the Western values of Gay rights, Alcohol and Assimilation. And these so-called Western values have been imposed upon the West by a small secretive group yet that is another video. Source
