In the modern day it has become absolutely essential that an opinion should only be expressed, especially in public, when you have made sure it’s the right opinion. And so it is with the US’s empire, the existence of which most of its citizens, media organs, and officials are unaware or won’t acknowledge. The truth is, the American empire, acknowledged or not, is over. It will be years before that’s accepted by the governing class. They’ll never officially inform their subjects, who are stuck with the tab for its immensely wasteful spending.

RAFAH, September 29, 2018 (WAFA) – Seven Palestinians, including two children, shot dead by Jews on Friday during the Gaza border protests were laid to rest on Saturday in their hometowns across Gaza, reported WAFA correspondent.
Thousands of people took part in the funerals of Mohammad Nayef al-Houm, 14, Iyad Khalil Shaer, 20, Mohammad Walid Haniya, 24, Mohammad Bassam Shakhsa, 24, Nasser Musabbeh, 12, Mohammad Ali Inshasi, 18, and Mohammad Ashraf Awawdeh, 26.
Four were laid to rest in Gaza City, two in Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, and one, the 12-year-old child, was buried in Khan Younis in the south.

Chinese Air Force Holds Live-Fire War Drill In South China Sea As Response Days After US War Games

By Tyler Durden: China Central Television, as per the Twitter account of the official People's Daily newspaper, reported Saturday that the Chinese military deployed fighter jets and bombers to conduct live-fire war drills in the disputed South China Sea, just days after the Japan Air Self-Defense Force and nuclear-capable US B-52 strategic bombers held exercises over the East China Sea and the Sea of Japan on September 27.
The report said dozens of jet fighters from the People’s Liberation Army Naval Air Force from the Southern Theater Command on early Saturday conducted "live-fire drills to tests pilots' assault, penetration and precision-strike capabilities at sea," said The Japan Times.
