For Young Men On Boys’ Day - May 16th

'You might have started to question of what the “male privilege” you kept hearing about was supposed to consist. You didn’t seem to have any privilege yourself.
...It is a moral obligation to think for yourself. ...Those who deny truth do so because they wish to exploit the mutability of social morality as weapon of control over you. Do not be fooled. To thine own self be true.'
By MRA-UK: I suspect the focus of Boys’ Day is on the younger boy, and upon activities rather than introspections. Well, outdoor activities are rather problematic at present, and my own “boys” are not only well past that description but are rapidly leaving “young man” behind in favour of encroaching middle-age. That being the case, I shall indeed be introspective and shall address this article as if to an older boy or a young man.

It is a difficult time to be a young man. In truth, it has probably always been a difficult time to be a young man, though that is not what you will have been told. You will have been told that it is – and always was – young women that face the problems, and that you and all your sex are privileged in comparison.

Record Numbers Of British Men And Boys Decide Feminist Gynocentric UK Life's Not Worth Living

By Tyler Durden: New data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) shows the number of people taking their own lives in Britain jumped to a record high in 4Q19, reported Daily Mail.
ONS recorded 1,413 suicides for 4Q19, compared with just 1,130 over the same period in 2017, resulting in a massive 25% increase.
The data showed 74% of the suicides were among males, mostly between ages 50-54.

Look At How Ridiculously Wrong All The COVID-19 Models Were

Authored by Robert Wenzel: The dotted line on the chart below indicates the current trend of beds needed for COVID-19 in New York.
At present, only 18,279 are in use.
The professional forecasters all projected that beds would be a multiple of the beds actually needed.
Notice not one model came in under the actual number.
These are all professional fearmongers who alarmed the country about a virus that appears to be in line with a severe flu season.
Can they really be that incompetent?

They Let You Do It!

By Mark Dent: We all recall the day the Access Hollywood tape was released by Trump’s opponents. They thought it would signal the end of his run for the Presidency and so did I.
“When you’re a star they let you do it. You do anything. Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”
The initial shock of hearing a presidential candidate speaking in such an uncouth manner and the fact that many in the media were waiting to pounce on Trump for the merest misstep seemingly ensured a feeding frenzy and the inevitable end of Donald Trump.
When I had some time to contemplate his words and look at what he actually said rather than what the breathless commentators were telling us he said, I began to reconsider my opinion on his demise.

A Tragic Suicide In Bangladesh

AVfM: The following is a suicide note left by a man in Bangladesh named Shamim Sultan. He took his own life after an acrimonious divorce. His note was posted on Facebook and went viral. We bring this to you with thanks to Dr. Rakib Hasan, who translated the note from Bengali to English. RIP Shamim.
Shamim Sultan
What is the point of having parents, sister, brother – in – law, uncle aunts, if they can’t help me when I needed them the most? No one stood by me in my time of crisis. No one asked me how I was doing, or they didn’t try to understand and solve my problem. My love is useless to my parents’ ego, anger and arrogance.
I have few questions to the people of my neighborhood. You consider your ego is superior to my happiness? I had an arranged marriage but why so much problem after marriage? You guys created problems but never tried to mitigate them because it will hurt your ego. As a father you can’t do this to your son at this time and age.
I want to say something to my in-laws. The financial conditions of a person can’t remain same all the time. At some point, I used to carry USD 4500 worth of gadgets in my backpack. You also have a son who is looking for a job but cannot manage one because it is not easy nowadays.
