Feminist Professor Thinks "Rigor" Is Evil + Innate Gender Differences & Normal To Normative - Feminist Counter-Theory

Venaloid: Donna Riley believes that "rigor" is not only a practical barrier to otherwise capable engineers, but that the goal of people who place high value on rigorous work is to preserve engineering's "white male heterosexual privilege". Most people would call this a conspiracy theory, but in the field, it's just called, *feminist* theory. This woman has two engineering degrees, but she doesn't seem to understand basic engineering tools, nor does she seem to understand basic things about her own university.
Credit to the YouTuber "Independent Man" for originally bringing this to my attention.

Innate Gender Differences
Feminist Counter-Theory
Venaloid: The foundational idea of gender feminism (EDIT: at least, based on my discussions with self-proclaimed feminists) is the assertion that men and women are psychologically identical at birth, and that all (or at least the vast majority of) gender-specific behaviors must therefore be caused by socialization and not biology. As a result, if we see men and women acting in different ways, they argue that this must be caused by sexism (see "Patriarchy"). In this video, I break down the evidence against the "blank slate" hypothesis as it pertains to gender.

______

Normal To Normative
Feminist Counter-Theory
Venaloid: Typo at 0:29 - Normative is what OUGHT to be the case. This may not be worth an entire video, but it does provide a necessary stepping stone for the next part of the series, and it's an idea which is often overlooked. Notice how there's no patriarchy, no male entitlement, and no rape culture: this simple, well-established psychological fact explains many (if not most) gender roles handily. As for solutions... well, you're just gonna have to be the change: sorry it's not as grandiose as smashing the patriarchy and overthrowing capitalism. You're not that special, you're just another weirdo: like me with my dislike of sports. Deal with it.
