As the European Commission has decided to curb free speech and ban
alternative TV programs, Afshin Rattansi introduces the safest ways to
whistleblow. Following Eutelsat SA's banning of Iranian TV channel based
on the EU Council sanctions, Rattansi decides to fight the move and
goes to space to fix the satellite. Meanwhile the alleged whistleblower
Bradley Manning continues to fight for justice, Rattansi speaks to
Professor Gavin MacFadyen, the Director of City University's Centre for
Investigative Journalism on the West's attempts at restricting
whistleblowing.
