Während die Untertanen darben und in
manchen Südstaaten bis zu 30% Arbeitslosigkeit herrscht, gönnen sich
EU-Beamte astronomische Gehälter - und das zu Konditionen, von denen ein
normaler Arbeiter noch nicht mal zu träumen wagt. Allein 4365 EU-Beamte
"verdienen" mehr als die Bundeskanzlerin. Insgesamt zählt der
EU-Apparat inklusive sogenannter "Vertragsmitarbeiter" rund 57.000
Gehaltsempfänger. Und täglich werden es mehr.
Die EU-Beamten können jetzt trotz zwei
Gehalts-Nullrunden in diesem Jahr mit steigenden Netto-Gehältern
rechnen. Nach einem Bericht der "Bild-Zeitung" (Freitagausgabe) will die
EU-Kommission die Rentenbeiträge der Beamten rückwirkend ab Juli
drastisch senken. Dadurch erhalten sie bis zu 240 Euro netto mehr im
Monat.
Dem "Bild"-Bericht zufolge soll der
Beitrag zum Pensions-System der EU-Beamten von derzeit 11,6 auf 10,3
Prozent der Grundgehälter gesenkt werden. Die EU-Kommission begründet
die Senkung in einer Verordnung mit einer erforderlichen "Sicherstellung
des versicherungsmathematischen Gleichgewichts" des EU-Pensionssystems.
Eine Neuberechnung der Kosten und der
Finanzierung der Pensionen durch die EU-Statistikbehörde Eurostat habe
ergeben, dass die EU-Beamten derzeit zu hohe Beiträge zahlen müssten.
Durch die Beitragssenkung steigen die Netto-Gehälter rückwirkend zum
Juli um bis zu 240 Euro im Monat.
Bis Ende des Jahres summiert sich die
Entlastung auf bis zu 1.440 Euro für einen Spitzenbeamten. Die Gehälter
der EU-Beamten sollten eigentlich in diesem und im kommenden Jahr nicht
steigen. Die EU-Mitgliedsstaaten hatten in langwierigen Verhandlungen
Nullrunden durchgesetzt.
Die Privilegien der EU-Beamten
- Das Einstiegsgehalt liegt bei 2.654 Euro – das Grundgehalt eines Spitzenbeamten beträgt 18.370 Euro, ohne Zulagen.
- EU-"Köngie" erhalten bis zu 24000 Euro. Laut
EU-Selbstauskunft „verdienen“ allein offiziell 37 Top-Beamte 24000 Euro
pro Monat (also mehr als die Bundeskanzlerin). Doch diese
"Bescheidenheit" trügt. Inklusive Zulagen und Steuervorteil sind es laut
"WELT" derzeit genau 4365 EU-Beamte, die mehr als die Bundeskanzlerin verdienen.
Und sie wollen noch mehr. Anders als in der Industrie, wo Lohnkürzungen
teilweise Realität sind, pochen die EU-Bonzen auf garantierte
Gehaltserhöhungen. Noch im November forderten sie ein Gehaltsplus von
8,8%.
- Die Zulagen können bis zu 23 Prozent an Extra-Einkommen ermöglichen.
- Die Wochenarbeitszeit beträgt lächerliche 37,5 Stunden.
- Für verheiratete Beamte kommen
monatlich mindestens 243 Euro Haushaltszulage hinzu. Und für jedes Kind
gibt es einen Zuschlag von 372 Euro.
- Und nun kommt der erste Hammer: Für Eurokraten gelten minimale Steuern: Der Steuersatz beträgt nur maximal 25 Prozent!
Doch weiter gehts:
- Statt der in Deutschland und Österreich üblichen zwei Tage, gibt es auf EU-Ebene vier Tage für die eigene Hochzeit frei.
- Angenehm sind auch die sogenannten Büroschließtage, die nicht vom Urlaub abgezogen werden. Diese Schließtage, diese Jahr sind es sieben, fallen gerne auf den 2. Januar oder 27. und 28. Dezember.
- Fliegt der Beamte auf Urlaub, bekommt er je nach Entfernung seines Heimatlandes von Brüssel bis zu sechs zusätzliche Reisetage bewilligt.
- Für Arbeitseinsatz jenseits der 37,5-Stunden-Woche gibt es bis zu zwölf zusätzliche Zeitausgleichstage pro Jahr für Beamte in niederen Gehaltsstufen
- Der Bund der deutschen Steuerzahler hat errechnet, dass so in Summe ein Urlaubsanspruch von bis zu 67 Tagen im Jahr besteht. Ein EU-Beamter im Auswärtigen Dienst kommt inklusive Sonder- und Erschwerniszulagen gar auf rund 17 Urlaubswochen oder 88 freie Tage.
- Und noch ein Hammer: Die
(Heim-)Reisekosten für Verwaltungsbedienstete und deren Angehörige
werden einmalig am Ende des Jahres pauschal abgegolten – ungeachtet
dessen, ob sie beansprucht werden oder eben nicht!
- Dazu gibt es Einrichtungs-und Wiedereinrichtungshilfe bei Dienstan- und -austritt, jeweils in der Höhe zweier Grundgehälter, fallweise Mietkostenzuschuss und eine Kostenpauschale für Dienstreisen – die nicht belegt werden müssen!
- Und weil besonders Spitzenbeamte so hart arbeiten, gönnen sie sich die Rente durchschnittlich schon ab 61 Jahren.
Offiziell darf ein männlicher EU-Beamter zwar erst mit 63 in Rente
gehen, doch die bis dahin hält es kaum jemand aus. Damit der Luxus aber
