What GI Jane 2 was actually saying with this first season of the documentary is, "No black female leader is even important enough to warrant a Netflix documentary, so they just changed the ethnicity of Greek Cleopatra, because everyone knows who she is. ...On top of that they're actually getting sued by the whole country of Egypt."
Jesse Grant: The Netflix Cleopatra documentary couldn't have opened to a worse start, with both audience and critic reviews slamming the documentary for it's falsification of Queen Cleopatra. And on top of that Egypt has also sued Netflix for lying and now Egypt have announced they are making their own Cleopatra documentary. What I thought was the worst part of the whole documentary was how Netflix didn't include any Egyptians in the filmmaking process.
