US-Ukraine To Propose Immediate 30-day Ceasefire To Russia; Russia Has Already Said "NO!"

By Hal Turner: The United States and Ukraine, meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, have decided to propose an immediate 30-day ceasefire to Russia.  

The U.S. is promoting this as some sort of progress in settling the Ukraine-Russia Conflict.  The Russians don't seem to see it that way.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a TV interviewer today the latest effort is reminiscent of the Minsk Agreement back in the year 2014.  In that agreement, Germany and France both attended the peace conference, helped with negotiations, and signed the agreement.   Ukraine did not honor even a single aspect of that agreement, and once the Russia-Ukraine conflict broke out, former French President Francois Hollande, and former German Chancellor Angela Merkel admitted in two TV interviews, the entire Minsk Conference was a ruse.   They only did it to buy time to arm Ukraine for war with Russia.

By Tyler Durden: At a moment that Iran's stocks of uranium are coming very close to nuclear weapons-grade, and as the Trump White House has resumed its 'maximum pressure' policy on Iran, China is set to host a meeting in Beijing with Russia and Iran.

Friday's scheduled summit in Beijing will focus on the Iranian "nuclear issue" - according to a Chinese foreign ministry statement, involving both nations' deputy foreign ministers.

China's Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu will chair the meeting, the statement described. Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson Esmail Baqaei confirmed that topping the agenda will be "developments related to the nuclear issue and the lifting of sanctions."

The UN atomic watchdog IAEA has recently warned that Tehran "dramatically" accelerating enrichment of uranium to up to 60% purity. The Iranians are within reach of achieving weapons-grade level of roughly 90% - if they desire to pursue it.
