Quincy Quinn: So I watched Megan's video "Feminism: what is it?" and I felt compelled to make a response. I strongly disagree with Megan even though I like her videos. I honestly don't believe women are oppressed; I believe the reverse is true. I believe we live in a gynocracy, a place where women are the ruling class.


Feminists will often say that women are oppressed and sight things such as "men don't have to feel afraid walking alone on the streets at night." First of men AND women don't have to FEEL anything. We shouldn't pass legislation based on people's feelings. Feminists always seem to neglect the fact that it is men who are more likely to be subjugated to violence, not women.

Feminists, if you truly believe that you're oppressed I suggest watching these videos:

Feminists, if you truly believe that feminism means equality for all genders I suggest that you adopt a different name such as egalitarianism because there are plenty of other feminists who do not share the same definition as you do (and also for the reason that I listed in this video).

I would just like to thank Archedgar (otherwise known as TheMythOf Feminism) for showing me an entirely new perspective on the gender role issue, and although Nicole (channel: otter borealis didn't intend this, I'd like to thank her as well for setting the groundwork for my revelation.

PZ Myers then added part where he says the story was given to him by Carrie Poppy. That is, someone gave the story to Carrie, who then gave it to PZ myers, who then published it. PZ has since edited the post to remove her name.
