The Guardian Admits That Around 90% Of The Street Homeless Who Die On UK Streets Are Men

By Patrick Greenfield and Sarah Marsh: The number of homeless people recorded dying on streets or in temporary accommodation has more than doubled over the last five years in the UK.
With people found dead in supermarket car parks, church graveyards and crowded hostels, the number of deaths has risen year on year, from 31 in 2013 to 70 in 2017. At least 230 people have died over that period.
The figures compiled by the Guardian, which include an average of more than one death a week in 2017, are likely to be a substantial underestimate, as no part of the UK government records homeless death statistics at a national level, and local authorities are not required to count rough sleeper deaths.
According to the Guardian’s figures, the average age of a rough sleeper at death was 43, nearly half the UK life expectancy. Around 90% of those who died in the last five years were men, when the gender was provided.
Experts have put the rise down to a rapidly increasing homeless population, rising rents, welfare cuts and lack of social housing, and have called for the government to take urgent action to address the root causes of poverty.
The sub-zero temperatures and heavy snow brought by Siberian air early in 2018 signalled a continuation of a deadly 2017, with at least 23 homeless deaths on the streets and in temporary accommodation reported by local media so far this year.

One would expect Jewish and Zionist institutions to celebrate the victory over antisemitsm and Jew hatred in general. This is not happening. According to the study,  Jews feel more insecure. “This situation [the drop in violent incidents] is not necessarily perceived in Jewish communities as a sufficient positive development, because the presence of security measures means that they are a necessity, and mainly because it is overshadowed by the many verbal and visual expressions, some on the verge of violence, such as direct threats, harassments, hateful expressions and insults. These take place in working places, schools, universities, playgrounds, near Jewish homes and institutes, on football/soccer fields, during demonstrations in the streets, and all the more so in the social networks.”
Once again Corbyn, BDS and the Left are the objects of blame. “The rise of leftist antisemitism that supports radical Muslim anti-Israeli attitudes expressed in antisemitic terms such as in the BDS  and and certainly in the UK Labour party led by Jeremy Corbyn.”
Apparently Jews in the UK are “losing their traditional political home” as a result of feeling betrayed by the Labour party. Maybe someone should explain to these snowflakes that political parties in the West are not ‘homes’ or properties nor do political parties need to make tribal commitments.

hequal: Yesterdays saw a hugely significant announcement in terms of equality for men in the UK, with an extra £15 million pounds to be spent on prostate cancer per year for the next five years. This finally gives something approaching a fair share of funding to prostate cancer after decades of campaigning by men’s equality groups. We thought it would be worth examining the discrimination men face in this area in more detail and look at why the government has been forced to step in.

Reading previous comments online about the issue, there are many people who blame men for not setting up prostate cancer research charities/initiatives, the implication being that women raise all breast cancer research funds themselves. Such attitudes therefore suggest that supposedly neutral organisation such as Cancer Research UK spend monies fairly and aren’t part of the cause of the gender discrimination, or perhaps they’d see the unfairness in the lack of prostate cancer funding and take up at least some of the slack themselves.
This couldn’t be further from the truth, and CRUK is in fact a deeply sexist organisation and given its vast size and dominance that results in huge inequalities for men.
