Jimmy Dore: Former MP George Galloway was recently held for nine hours at Gatwick Airport by UK counterterrorism police under the Terrorism Act. In this segment Galloway describes being told he was “not under arrest but not free to leave,” stripped of his right to silence, and threatened with charges if he refused to answer questions, which he calls an Orwellian attack on liberty. His phone and laptop were confiscated, and he believes the real goal was to access his communications and intimidate a political dissident critical of NATO, Israel, and Western foreign policy.
