In the United States the Republic established by the Founding Fathers had deteriorated into mob democracy, a form of communism, a regime in which 42 million Americans unable or unwilling to provide for themselves voted themselves a livelihood provided by the work force of 170 million, in effect reducing the working population to serfs serving the new privileged class. 

The long years of open borders had filled the United States with millions of illegal immigrant-invaders, who no longer assimilate but establish their own cultural zones and advocate for their own forms of law. The country was transformed into a Tower of Babel in which exists no common purpose.
