By Jonathan Cook: No one should be surprised that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer confected yet another duplicitous antisemitism furore last week – one in which he implicitly cast West Midlands Police as colluding in Jew hatred and insisted that British Muslims be exposed to racist violence from visiting foreign football hooligans.
Starmer had demanded that a decision by the police to bar fans of an Israeli club, Maccabi Tel Aviv, from attending a Europa League match in Birmingham next month be overturned.

I say it is the new narrative that as Russia is on the ropes Putin can be coerced into a cease fire and thereby no negotiation is necessary that addresses the root cause.
Western propaganda has made him unloved, and Putin himself has made himself not feared. President Trump now mocks Putin’s Russia as a “paper tiger.” Putin after four years of conflict hasn’t won a war he should have won, as I have said so many times and as Trump now says, in one week.
Having failed to fight for a quick victory and to enforce redlines, Putin has relied on announcements of new super weapons to substitute for the lack of response to ever-worsening provocations that Putin’s never-ending war continues to produce. Having backed down in the face of every provocation, Putin has squandered the Russian deterrent.

The Issue
On 22 October 2025 the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice, Baroness Levitt KC, announced that the Government will repeal the presumption of parental involvement when Parliamentary time allows.
I suppose under a Labour Government this was inevitable. But the process was started under the Conservatives and would likely have happened anyway. No politicians oppose the feminist bandwagon.

This repeal refers to the clause in the Children and Families Act 2014, which affected an amendment to the Children Act 1989,
(2A) A court…is, as respects each parent,….to presume, unless the contrary is shown, that involvement of that parent in the life of the child concerned will further the child’s welfare.

It is meant to serve the free market by appealing to either a target demographic or the most common demographic as a way to sell products and services. That said, advertising can also be used as propaganda, designed to sell ideologies rather than soda, cars and insurance.
This has been the primary setting of marketing in the west for at least the past ten years – The vast majority of commercials have political messaging embedded within them. Though it might not be obvious for the unaware, once you notice the patterns it’s impossible to avoid them.
