Russia and China could have prevented the attack, but did nothing.  Peace in the Middle East could have been established with a Russian-Iranian-Chinese mutual security treaty.  Why do Russia and China prefer war to peace in the Middle East?  Where was Iran’s air defense?  Why is Iran always a sitting duck devoid of initiative?  Why are Muslims happy fighting one another instead of their real enemies?

By Tyler Durden: A United States Army colonel has been removed from his position on the Pentagon staff supporting the Joint Chiefs after his Israel-critical social media posts were publicized by Jewish News Syndicate (JNS). Until this week, Army Col Nathan McCormack led the Joint Chiefs of Staff's Levant and Egypt branch. That team is part of the Joint Staff J5, which proposes strategies, plans, and policy recommendations to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs. Within hours of Tuesday's JNS report, McCormack was yanked from his post, with a Pentagon official telling JNS:

“The individual is being returned to [the Army] while the matter is being investigated...The information on the X account does not reflect the position of the Joint Staff or the Department of Defense...Our global alliances and partnerships are vital to our national security, enhancing our collective defense, deterrence and operational reach.”

By Tyler Durden: Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who plans to travel to Moscow to meet President Putin on Monday, has reacted to the major US bombing of his country's nuclear facilities by saying 'all options' are on the table militarily, and that this effectively has blown up any efforts at diplomacy.

"The events this morning are outrageous and will have everlasting consequences. Each and every member of the UN must be alarmed over this extremely dangerous, lawless and criminal behavior," he said. "In accordance with the UN Charter and its provisions allowing a legitimate response in self-defense, Iran reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interest, and people."

On Sunday morning, Trump's Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth sought to present the overnight attacks as 'intentionally limited' in scope, and described that this is not a regime change operation. He told the Iranians to heed Trump's call to return to the negotiating table, and that the US military is ready to unleash more strikes if need be.

Iran RETALIATING ! Missiles Launched; Impacts In Tel Aviv And Haifa

'It is now believed this vast array of missiles will target UNITED STATES MILITARY BASES throughout the Middle East.'

By Hal Turner: Iran has begun retaliating for the unprovoked attack it suffered at the hands of the United States Saturday night.  "Unprecedented" missile movements are ongoing as of 1:00 AM eastern US time, and Ballistic Missiles have been launched at Israel.

As this story is written at 1:00 AM EDT, about twenty minutes ago, Iran launched Ballistic Missiles.  Trajectory indicated the missiles headed for central and northern Israel.  Missile attack warnings went out in Israel.

Despite air defenses being launched by Israel, several missiles got through. There have been missile impacts in Tel Aviv and in Haifa.  Reporting claims at least five (5) direct hits in Tel Aviv.
