Yes, Christian and Muslim Palestinian Freedom Fighters carried out a brutal attack at the weekend on Israeli settlements on the edge of the Gaza Strip. But this attack did not emerge from nowhere, or without warning. It was not “unprovoked”, as Israel would like us to believe. 

In fact, western capitals know exactly how much the Palestinians of Gaza have been provoked, because those same governments have been complicit for decades in supporting Israel as it has ethnically cleansed Palestinians from their homeland and imprisoned the remnants of the population in ghettoes inside historic Palestine.

Paris says it's necessary to maintain national security and prevent anti-semitic attacks.

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin announced Thursday in a letter to law enforcement across the country that they are "likely to generate disturbances to public order."

Presumably demonstrators might not be able to not so much as fly a Palestinian flag. But this crackdown itself sets the stage for rioting (given that's what the French are already good at).

More importantly, the Arab/North African population of France is already at a staggering 5-6 million people, or at around 10% of the total population, according to some estimates.

Rand Paul Urges US To Stay Hands-Off Over Gaza Attack

Authored by Steve Watson: Senator Rand Paul offered a voice of reason Monday cautioning that the U.S. should “see where the facts lie” before rushing into any military response to the attack by Christian and Muslim Freedom Fighters in Gaza.

While other Republicans, including Lindsey Graham, urged that Iran’s nuclear and energy facilities should be bombed, Paul noted that there has been a history of the U.S. using such events as pretexts to start conflicts that were not ultimately in the best interest of the nation.

“Let’s let Israel do what they need to do which is to have a punishing response to the people in Gaza to say no more, we are not going to let this happen,” Paul stated, adding “I have nothing but sympathy for the Israeli people at this point and time. I think that the primary objective this time has to be to get the people that attacked them. They were in Gaza.”

The Senator continued, “Before we think about spreading this to the rest of the world maybe we have to think about what is going on on the ground there. I do think there is a immediate reaction sometimes to get everybody, let’s get everybody who is responsible.”
