Gulf states have offered normalised relations in exchange for renewed push for peace with Palestinians, report says 
By MEE: Numerous Gulf states have offered a deal to normalise relations with Israel if Tel Aviv takes steps to restart peace talks with the Palestinians, according to reports.
The offer to normalise relations come a week before Donald Trump visits Saudi Arabia and Israel in his first foreign trip as US president.
The Wall Street Journal said numerous Gulf states were prepared to set up telecommunication lines between the countries, open trade negotiations and allow planes to fly over their airspace.
In exchange, Israel would have to freeze settlement construction in the West Bank and relax trade restrictions with the Gaza Strip.

In truth, feminist’s efforts to level the playing field are targeted in one direction ­– toward the privileged and protected class of women. Rob Whitley Ph. D. reported in Psychology Today, The European Parliament Committee for Women’s Rights and Gender Equality produced a February 2017 report that was adopted by Parliament and ignored any issues for boys and men. The United Kingdom’s boy suicide rate parallels America. There is a disturbing lack of interest in dealing with boys’ equality concerns, especially those related to the challenges young males face and how they are treated – or mistreated – during those times in their lives when they are most vulnerable.

A libertarian and neo-liberal populist group called the Progress Party (FrP) of Norway has voted recently and passed a platform that includes banning routine circumcision of boys under 16. The platform includes a ban on wearing hijabs in public schools and was criticized as an attack on minorities. The European Jewish Association called on other Jewish organizations to help them oppose this and any other legislation that they consider anti-Jewish.
Voted down was a compromise that only banned government-funded circumcisions.

For Palestinians, The Balfour Declaration was the beginning of their plight: a century of ethnic cleansing at the hands of European newcomers who claim Palestine as their historic home. Yet, for some reason, supporters of the Palestinians are desperate to suppress discussion of the motivation for the Balfour Declaration - how and why did it come about?
The Balfour Declaration provides solid evidence that the dominance of Jewish political lobbies in world affairs is not really a ‘new development.’ In 1917, at the peak of WWI, it was up to a few Jewish financiers and lobbyists to decide the fate of countries, continentsand the outcome of global conflicts.
In his invaluable book, The Pity of it All, Israeli historian Amos Elon suggests that the 1917 Balfour Declaration was at least partially motivated by the British government's desire to win the support of pro-German American Jews so that they would help to pull the USA into the war.

Gender And Mental Health: Do Men Matter Too?

A new report on gender equality and mental health Completely ignores men. Why?
By Rob Whitley, Ph.D.: The European Parliament Committee for Women’s Rights and Gender Equality recently produced a report entitled "promoting gender equality in mental health and clinical research". This report was adopted by the Parliament in plenary in February 2017.
Such a report should be welcome, even though it only contains recommendations rather than obligations. Mental health activists can use such reports as a tool to advocate for positive change on the ground, especially where there are deficits in understanding and service provision.
Unfortunately, the report falls short on numerous fronts.
Ignoring Men      
Firstly, the phrase "gender equality" is implicitly equated with women’s health throughout the report. Only two paragraphs out of 163 are devoted to men’s mental health. Likewise, a word count reveals that the words "women" and "girls" are mentioned 217 times, whereas "men" and "boys" are mentioned only 45 times.
