The Electronic Intifada: In Gaza, Israel killed 13 Palestinians and wounded at least 18 others over a 24-hour period on Tuesday and Wednesday, in a series of drone strikes, shelling and gunfire.
In the pre-dawn hours on Wednesday, the Jews' helicopter gunships targeted a home in Deir al-Balah, killing three members of the Abu Qassem family: Omar, 33, his wife Asmaa, 32, and their 6-year-old daughter Habiba.
The killing of children has been a key feature of the ongoing genocide, and the evidence shows it is systematic.
Recently, an independent United Nations Commission of Inquiry concluded that Israel’s deliberate targeting of children in Gaza establishes, in part, its genocidal intent to destroy Palestinian society.
We are joined by Dr. Mimi Syed and Wes Bryant. They are co-authors of a new report, “Lethal Precision Without Accountability: Israeli ‘Quadcopter’ Use in Gaza,” which documents Israel’s patterns of targeting children.
Dr. Syed is an emergency medicine physician who worked in Gaza during Israel’s genocide. Bryant is a Pentagon whistleblower and a war crimes analyst, and served as a special advisor to the United Nations International Commission of Inquiry on Palestine.
