Uncompromising Positions

By andybob: The Men’s Human Rights Movement (MHRM) has been subject to all manner of criticism over the years, much of it libellous mischaracterizations intended to demonize its adherents as rape apologists who are reacting to the loss of unearned male privileges by attempting to silence women and make the world less safe for them. These critics are completely unfazed by the fact that none of them can offer any valid examples of MHRAs doing any such thing. This is because feminists regard lying to protect their precious narratives as acts of ideological heroism – necessary and commendable – and when the lies begin to founder, shame, shame and shame again. Being honest never seems to occur to them.
However, a good deal of the criticism aimed at the MHRM comes from well-intentioned voices within the movement, as well as from sympathetic views close to it. This criticism is often concerned with the uncompromising positions of ‘A Voice for Men’ (AVfM) and how it may be misunderstood or misinterpreted by the public as a whole, particularly those popularly described as ‘fence-sitters’, as being too harsh, accusatory and confrontational.
This criticism is often accompanied by calls to keep in mind that most people outside the MHRM are blithely ignorant of many of our ideas and concepts and that uncompromising positions appear to hold such people accountable for their ignorance.

After the meeting BOD’s president Jonathan Arkush told the JC,  "we had a positive and constructive meeting and were pleased that Mr. Corbyn gave a very solid commitment to the right of Israel to live within secure and recognised boundaries as part of a two state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict.”
Good to know that Corbyn, a long time supporter of the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign (PSC), is so committed to the existence of the Jewish State. 
Arkush announceed that Corbyn supports Jewish blood ritual such as ‘brit milah’  and Jewish sadistic butchery known as ‘shechitah.’  According to the JC. "Mr Corbyn affirmed his support for shechitah, brit milah and Jewish faith schools.” It is perhaps another sign of progress that the new radicals can tolerate some inhuman measures.

By Doug Mortimer: Sooner or later every male high school student has to come to grips with his facial hair or lack of same. For every overachiever who has a five o’clock shadow in 9th grade, there is a smooth-cheeked guy in 12th grade who wonders if he got shortchanged in the hormone department.
I see local high school boys waiting for the school bus every morning. I never see one with facial hair, so I’m sure high school dress codes still prohibit it. Of course, it is always fun to push the envelope. In my day, I did this by gradually extending my sideburns further and further down my ears. Eventually, the powers that be would take notice and say something, so I cut them back…then let them creep down again.
In my mid-20s I grew a full beard and had only shaved it off once, in the late 1970s, when I was between jobs and temporarily working as a movie extra. As soon as the production is wrapped, I let the beard grow back and since then have occasionally trimmed it but not shaved it.
Beards were so rare 40 years ago that little kids used to stare at me in public. Not anymore; today there’s a good chance their fathers, uncles, and grandfathers have beards. Even so, I am amazed by the contemporary fashion of men with beards that cascade down their chests. Today it’s not hard to find men looking like cavemen, like Old Testament prophets, like barbarians, like the Smith Brothers, like Gilded Age Presidents, like two-thirds of ZZ Top…like patriarchs! There, I said it!

Hillary’s coronation was predicated on a conviction that has just gone up in smoke. The Clintons felt that Barack Obama had presumptuously snatched what was rightfully hers in 2008, gliding past her with his pretty words to make history before she could.

So this time, the Clintons assumed, the women who had deserted Hillary for Barack, in Congress and in the country, owed her. Democrats would want to knock down that second barrier.

Hillary believed that there was an implicit understanding with the sisters of the world that now was the time to come back home and vote for a woman. (The Clintons seem to have conveniently forgotten how outraged they were by identity politics when black leaders deserted them in 2008 to support Obama.)

This attitude intensified the unappetizing solipsistic subtext of her campaign, which is “What is Hillary owed?” It turned out that female voters seem to be looking at Hillary as a candidate rather than as a historical imperative. And she’s coming up drastically short on trustworthiness.
