9/11 After A Quarter Of A Century

By Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: The shock of September 11, 2001, was so great that, despite some initial skepticism, it was four or five years afterward that professional and scientific independent investigators presented evidence that the official narrative had serious problems.  Over the years as the evidential problems for the official narratives grew in number and magnitude, I reported the findings.  On many anniversaries of the event, I reminded readers that there was more evidence against the official narrative than there was evidence for it.  I am not going to repeat all of this information today, as it would be book length.  Instead, I am going to show you a different way to think about what is in some ways a defining event.

Before we begin, keep in mind that as early as 2006–long before evidence began accumulating that the official narrative was a lie–a Zogby Poll found that 42% of Americans believed the government concealed and refused to investigate important evidence.  How could they believe otherwise with New York’s Chief Fire Marshall protesting that in violation of law the forensic evidence contained in the debris of the Twin Towers and Building 7 was carried away and shipped out of the country before it could be investigated?  How could they believe otherwise when the Cheney/Bush/Zionist Neoconservative administration refused for one year to even convene, not an investigation, but a politically selected committee to ratify the official narrative, especially when afterward the co-chairman of the committee and chief legal counsel wrote books saying the committee was set up to fail, that information was withheld from the committee and that the committee had considered criminal referrals?

USA: The Story Of Slavery Told Correctly

By Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: For several decades I have emphasized that black slavery was a product of black slave wars in Africa for which no white person has any responsibility.  It was black African rulers, such as the King of Dahomey, who enslaved and sold black Africans to mainly Jews, but also some Arabs and to British and European colonies in the New World where there was abundant resources and fertile land but no work force. This is an indisputable fact.  Some of the most famous leftists in history, such as Karl Polanyi, have documented this fact.  

Today as I write there stands on the Atlantic coast of Africa three miles south of Ouidan in Benin, the former Kingdom of Dahomey, the Gate of No Return, a memorial erected to mark the departure point where Africans enslaved by Africans were loaded aboard ships to be marketed to Arabs and to British and European colonists in the New World. The Gate of No Return sits at the end of a road known as the Route of the Slaves.  As far as I can ascertain, none of this factual history is acknowledged in any black studies program in any Western university or by any of the black organizations agitating for reparations from white peoples who neither enslaved nor owned a slave.
