Israeli Editor Says Pro-Israel Activism In UK Has Moved “Out Of The Shadows”

IAK: Israeli editor David Horovitz says that UK Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn is a “racist and an antisemite” because of Corbyn’s support for Palestinian rights. Horovitz writes that the Jewish community, which had previously kept a low profile, is now publicly mobilizing against Corbyn: “It has moved out of the shadows and into the glare.”
Prominent Israeli editor David Horovitz writes in the Times of Israel that opposition to UK Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn over his actions in support of Palestinian rights has caused Britain’s Jewish community to become publicly active as never before.
Horovitz, founding editor of the Times of Israel, writes that in the past Jewish Britons kept a low profile and were far less public in their support of Israel than American groups.
In the U.S, Horovitz says, pro-Israel groups would publicly demonstrate their power:  “At the pro-Israel lobby AIPAC’s annual conference in Washington, DC, a gala dinner would be held for all the thousands of participants that began with an extraordinary display of political muscle: the roll call.

Palestinian Teen Artist Denied Visas To France, UK To Attend Exhibits Of Her Own Work

Palestinian artist Malak Mattar has had exhibitions around the world, but has never attended one of them outside Gaza. She has been denied visas recently to the UK and France.
From Telesur: Young Palestinian Artist Malak Mattar from Gaza said Monday that she was refused a visa to France and to the U.K., in order to be present at exhibitions of her own paintings in the European countries.
Malak is a young Palestinian artist who has had exhibitions of her paintings in several countries around the world but has not been able to attend one outside of Palestine. “It seems that the hatred of Palestinians, and the ambition to keep us from traveling and living normal lives, is shared by more than just Israel. However, I will never stop creating art,” she wrote in a Facebook post denouncing the denial of her visa applications.
“My dream is to just have the ability to be present with my paintings and attend my exhibition,” Mattar said after complaining that she was falsely accused of lying on her visa application for the U.K., “including the accusation that I was not a real student and that they didn’t believe my intentions.”
She started her visa application to France, in order to attend two exhibitions, in Paris and in Avignon and to paint in a studio. “I knew I would’ve had a great and warm welcome from my friends in France,” she emphasized. However, despite having handed every required document her visa was denied.

Western Civilization Is Now A Caricature Of Absurdity

This Is Not A Joke
Dr Paul Craig Roberts:
Dear Readers: If you have concluded that a small handful of crazed morons control the words we are permitted to use, you are correct. The LGBT (Lesbian-gay-bisexual-transgender) community has decided that the word “vagina” is not gender-inclusive. The new unbiased designation of vagina is “front hole.”
The health website Healthline, together with the National Institutes of Health, Human Rights Campaign, BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth journal, and Fenway Health in collaboration with Harvard Medical School, the National LGBT Health Education Center, and the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers have joined in the use of “front hole” as an “unbiased, inclusive, and contemporary term.”
One wonders how “front hole” qualifies as an unbiased gender neutral term. Does the male gender have a front hole? This effort to neutralize femaleness doesn’t work, but nevertheless it is the new politically correct term.
Healthline states that “it is simply not true” that “Healthline is now using the term ‘front hole’ instead of vagina,” but then corrects itself: “we use both front hole and vagina.

Time To Focus On Localism, Decentralization And Community

Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don’t have to know about Plato and Aristotle to serve. You don’t have to know Einstein’s “Theory of Relativity” to serve. You don’t have to know the Second Theory of Thermal Dynamics in Physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love. – From “The Drum Major Instinct”, a sermon by Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., 1968.

By Michael Krieger: The following piece is based on a vision for the U.S., but I suspect the concepts apply equally to most nation-states encompassing large land masses and populations over a few million. Most of us have been conditioned to believe human life is best organized at scale. In other words, we’ve been convinced it’s best to have as many people as possible operating under a single overarching centralized government structure in charge of micromanaging society from the top down. I consider this paradigm outdated, unnatural and increasingly dangerous.

In the Western world, we tend to justify centralized superstates because they’re ostensibly based on democracy, but this doesn’t hold water for a variety of reasons. First, you’d have to be living under a rock to look at U.S. policy during the 21st century and think it reflects the “will of the people.”
Second, if you try to create one-size fits all solutions to problems in a geographically and culturally diverse nation of 325 million people, you tend to make everyone unhappy.

The Feminist War Against Justice

Maybe part of the cultural punishment is that some innocent men will be hurt.

No, we haven’t gone too far, nor far enough. … The only way to change the equation is for men to begin paying that price, guilty or not.

By : Feminism is a partisan movement on behalf of females. Advancing the status and circumstances of women is its first and only priority. One problem with single value movements, such as feminism, is that it disregards other values that are important. For feminists, every other value may be suppressed in aid of female supremacy. Most notable, at this moment, is the feminist suppression of justice.

Jewish Nazis: Now, This Is Racism!

This is what happens to JVL's 'principle statement' once  you replace the word 'Jewish' with 'Aryan.'
By proud ex-Jew Gilad Atzmon: What do you call an exclusively Aryan club that welcomes support from ALL members of society but only allows Aryans in as members?
Nazis I guess.
What would you call a white nationalist campaign organisation that welcomes support from people of ALL colours who agree with their ‘statement of principles’ but only allows nonwhites in as ‘solidarity members’?
I think that ‘white supremacist’ is the term the  Left uses to refer to such groups.
Would Jeremy Corbyn accept support from groups that name themselves ‘Aryan Voice for Labour’ or ‘Whites for Corbyn’? Would the Labour party allow any such groups in its proximity?  I don’t think so, they would be booted out in seconds. The Labour leader would be very quick to disassociate himself from such racially exclusive bodies. But neither Labour nor Corbyn have ever contemplated denouncing the Jews only, racially exclusive enthusiasts at Jewish Voice for Labour (JVL).
One finds the following statement on their front page.
“We welcome support from ALL members of the Labour Party who agree with our statement of principles.  If you are not Jewish you can join us as a solidarity member.”

Medieval Lesson In Winning Women’s Love: Aloofness, Not Groveling

Many men today think that they can gain women’s love by showing intense interest in female gender gaps. Self-centered women won’t object to men denouncing men’s crimes and men striving to reduce the number of women in prison. Self-centered women will praise men who champion women’s reproductive rights and advocate for the interests of elite women in being promoted further into high-status, high-stress jobs. Almost all women will smile smugly and contemptuously at men who proclaim that women throughout history have been treated as men’s property. But men proclaiming “the future is female” and ardently supporting female supremacists won’t stir women’s sexual desire any more than will a yes-dearing husband. Men who seek women’s love must act with more sophistication and more guile.
A thirteenth-century French poetic work called “The Little Debate {Le Petit Plet}” explains clearly and concisely a man’s position in love in relation to a woman. Le Petit Plet states of a woman:
As soon as she notices that someone loves her,
then she clamors that she’s being treated disrespectfully,
and quickly gets hard-to-please,
and very malicious and angry too.

BBC Horizon: Stopping Male Suicide

By Mike Buchanan, J4MB: The BBC has just broadcast an hour-long Horizon documentary, “Stopping Male Suicide”. BBC licence fee payers can watch the programme on iPlayer – here – for the next 29 days. It’s well worth watching, but predictably an obvious question wasn’t asked, and therefore wasn’t addressed:

Are men more likely than women to suffer the deeply stressful life events which increase the risk of committing suicide?
Followers of this blog won’t need reminding that the answer to the question is a resounding YES. Those life events include:

  • denial of access to children, following family breakdowns
  • denial of support to male victims of domestic violence
  • financial devastation following divorce
  • homelessness (90% of the street homeless are men)
The state, through its actions and inactions, is responsible for most male suicide.

Women Want A Shorter Work Week Because... Equality?

Terrence Popp: For 90 years, feminism has told the world that women can do everything men can do. Except this article proves that's a bunch of crap.

#WhatAboutUsBlokes

By : Feminist commentator Clementine Ford would be a nightmare in couples counseling I suspect. If her crazy-making political antics translate to her love life, she’d be whipping out her frequent flyer victim card and pointing the blame finger before Mr Ford could spit out his first gripe. How could any therapist help one of the shrillest radical voices in Australia get along better with her partner when deep down she doesn’t appear to like or respect men very much? Senator Leyonhelm recently termed it “misandry”, the female version of misogyny.
In one of Ford’s more recent Fairfax rants she sarcastically professes, “as everyone knows, the most oppressed person in the world today is the humble white man”. For a split second, I caught myself feeling sorry for her son’s father, a white guy, for the racist rants he must frequently cop. In my private practice, I generally view relationship partners as ‘volunteers’ and try to avoid dealing victim status to either gender unless there are significant levels of unilateral partner violence. Even if Ms Ford is keeping her hands to herself, I imagine Mr Ford might benefit from some military-grade assertiveness coaching.
Ten years as a couples counsellor has taught me that men and women both can act out aggressive tendencies during conflict. Bettina Arndt, in her classic article Always Beating Up on Men, notes “most family violence is two-way aggression, with international research showing about a third of couples have a go at each other — pushing, slapping, shoving or worse”.

Germany Calls For Global Payment System Independent Of The USA

"It’s essential that we strengthen European autonomy by establishing payment channels that are independent of the US, creating a European Monetary Fund and building up an independent Swift system." German foreign minister Heiko Maas.
By Tyler Durden: In a stunning vote of "no confidence" in the US monopoly over global payment infrastructure, Germany’s foreign minister Heiko Maas called for the creation of a new payments system independent of the US that would allow Brussels to be independent in its financial operations from Washington and as a means of rescuing the nuclear deal between Iran and the west.
Writing in the German daily Handelsblatt, Maas said "Europe should not allow the US to act over our heads and at our expense. For that reason it’s essential that we strengthen European autonomy by establishing payment channels that are independent of the US, creating a European Monetary Fund and building up an independent Swift system," he wrote, cited by the FT.
