Does Media Run America? Does Misandry Extend To Jesus?

"Look for witnesses, false witnesses, just crucify the guy you hate. They did it to Jesus Christ you know!"

Kavanaugh Breaks Silence v Me Too: "I'm Not Going Anywhere"... And I Was A Virgin In High School

By Tyler Durden: Breaking his public silence for first time since the hearings last month, Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh, appeared alongside his wife, on Fox News Channel's "The Story with Martha MacCallum" tonight to address the sexual misconduct allegations that have put his confirmation at risk of unraveling.
As we detailed earlier, Brett Kavanaugh defied his accusers on Monday when he said, in a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), that he will "not be intimidated into withdrawing" his Supreme Court nomination and staunchly denied the accusations, calling them a "grotesque and obvious character assassination" and "a coordinated effort" to drive him out on the nomination
Ahead of tonight's interview, President Trump tweeted about the interview and reiterated that "this is an outstanding family who must be treated fairly!"

Wynnere And Wastoure: Reject Gender Subordination To Be A Winner

: Wynnere and Wastoure {Winner and Waster}, an alliterative Middle English poem written in the 1350s, features the personifications Winner and Waster in debate. Their debate encompasses husbands’ gender subordination to their wives under the delusions of courtly love. In the Middle Ages, shrewd men recognized that gyno-idolatry is not only a sin, but also a waste.
Winner pitied those men who, like Waster, allowed their wives to dictate their spending. The situation hints of domestic violence against husbands:
“Now,” said Winner to Waster, “I wonder in my heart
at these poor, penniless men that buy precious furs,
saddles of silk, circled with sumptuous rings,
lest they anger their wives, whose wills they must follow.
You sell wood after wood in only a short time,
both the oak and the ash, and all that grows there.

Both Parents Matter - Fundraising

By MRA UK: I won’t make a habit of this…
You will be aware that, of all the male disadvantages now rife in our society, the treatment of fathers by the family courts is amongst the worst. There are ways you can help – one of which will cost you nothing (read to the end!).
I have recently volunteered to act as fundraising coordinator for the charity Families Need Fathers Both Parents Matter Cymru (soon to be simply ‘Both Parents Matter’ or just BPM for short). The charity has ambitious plans to become more organised and to expand the scope of its services (including a domestic violence service for abused men). But the charity teeters on the brink of going under for lack of funds.
One of the things I, and others, are doing is applying for funding from Trusts and Foundations. There is a great deal of competition for such funds, and I hardly need tell you that our charity will not be the first choice for many granting bodies. Nevertheless, it is possible and is being pursued with vigour.
To show willing in my new role I am doing a fund raising event myself, namely a 50 km walk across the Cotswolds, involving about 5,000 feet of ascent, to be completed in 12 hours. It is scheduled for the 25th September, that being the last day there will be 12 hours of daylight.

Turning Molehills Into Mountains

By Eve Mykytyn: Earlier this month, University of Michigan professor John Cheney-Lippold, told his student, Abigail Ingber, that he would not write a letter of recommendation for her to study in Israel.  In declining to write the recommendation, he wrote in part, “As you may know, many university departments have pledged an academic boycott against Israel in support of Palestinians living in Palestine. This boycott includes writing letters of recommendation for students planning to study there.”
This incident has, predictably, led to wild accusations of anti Semitism. First, it is worth noting that it is unlikely that this refusal caused Ms Ingber any harm. Other professors can write recommendations and the publicity around this incident will not harm her application to be a visiting student at Tel Aviv University.

Theresa May Braces For Snap Election In November As Brexiteer Mutiny Erupts

'March 29 the UK will leave the
European Union with or without a deal.'
By Tyler Durden: UK Prime Minister Theresa May just can't catch a break.
Her wildly unpopular "Chequers Agreement" has pushed Brexiteers in her own party to the verge of mutiny. Labour, her chief Parliamentary rivals, are pushing for a popular referendum on the final deal - a step that would massively complicate her already fraught negotiations (though Labour leaders say canceling Brexit would not be an option during the referendum) - and the European Union leaders upon whom she was depending for flexibility have so far been unwilling to cede even an inch to help buttress her floundering administration.
May
And as if all of this wasn't bad enough, May’s aides have reportedly begun contingency planning for a snap election in November to save the Brexit talks (and May's job) after EU leaders rejected her Chequers agreement. According to the Times of London, strategists have begun war-gaming" the outcome of a public vote to help win backing for her Brexit plan. All of this comes after May suffered a humiliation at the hands of the 27 remaining EU leaders when European Council President Donald Tusk told her last week that her Chequers plan risked "undermining the single market", and that even her staunchest Continental allies (including Angela Merkel and France's Emmanuel Macron) had rejected it in brusque terms.

Paul Condemned Gyno-Idolators Along With Fornicators & Adulterers

While men-abasing “courtly love” became a highly refined form of oppression in medieval Europe, its constituents gyno-idolatory and gynocentrism have been prevalent throughout history. The man enslaved in love, soldiering on watch for his beloved and lamenting that he is locked out, is a common figure in ancient Roman elegiac poems. That’s the context in which Paul of Tarsus condemned gyno-idolatry among particular categories of men’s sexual wrongdoing.
Paul’s condemnation of idolatry should be interpreted within its specific context. Paul declared:
Do not be deceived! Neither fornicators nor idolators nor adulterers nor catamites nor sodomites nor thieves nor the greedy, neither drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
