Dave hasn’t blogged much about the Mayan calendar. For the most part I missed that opportunity, but now that it’s over I’m seeing that although the Mayans may have allowed their calendar to run out a bit early, the Gregorian calendar on the other hand is exhibiting some very mysterious patterns. Here’s what Dave has noticed.
1. FDIC insurance levels on bank deposits are scheduled to reset December 31, 2012
http://www.fdic.gov/deposit/deposits/unlimited/expiration.html
2. U. S. Government is scheduled to breach the debt ceiling on December 31, 2012. Here’s the letter from departing SecTreas Geithner to Congress.

3. Federal Reserve Act celebrates its 100th anniversary with the non-expiration of its non 100 year charter:

The Federal Reserve was chartered exactly one hundred years before the Mayan Calendar expired which was exactly ten years before the year that Judge Robert Patterson, Jr. was born. Who is Robert Patterson? Well, he’s the judge that just dismissed the silver market manipulation suit against JP Morgan on the same day that the Mayan Calendar expired. Are you seeing a pattern?
I realize that the CFTC investigation into the metals manipulation is not quite one hundred years old yet, but it’s well on its way.
The CFTC investigation is so old that Judge Patterson even describes it as “lengthy” and he ought to know about “lengthy” as the Judge will be the focus of a 90th year birthday party in 2013. For he’s a jolly good felloooow and a decade younger than the Federal Reserve Aaaaact of 1913 and nobody can deny that… that nobody can deny… that nobody can deny.
Here’s the quotation for the justification of the dismissal courtesy of the exiting octogenarian pending entry into nonagenarianism decade of service to America’s free market capitalist system.
“Because it is not clear that Plaintiffs’ Complaint is viable or that the CFTC’s lengthy investigation into Defendants’ conduct will result in any criminal action being filed, Plaintiffs’ motion to compel limited discovery is DENIED.”
IT IS SO ORDERED.

(Robert P. Patterson, Jr.)
U.S. District Court Judge
In other words, the case is dismissed because it’s not clear and it’s not clear because of the lengthy investigation as administered by the CFTC. There you have it. That’s your justice system at work or as Gerald Celente prefers to refer to it… The “Just Us” System.
Here’s the judge’s dismissal of the case claiming manipulation of the silver market by JP Morgan. At just shy of ninety years old, amazingly the judge is still able to sign his own orders – impressive:

Here’s the Judge’s biography. Looks like his Dad was a judge too:

If you enjoy collecting new signatures of old judges or possibly old signatures of new judges, you can purchase a signed photograph from Judge Patterson’s father here for only $550 at the “History for Sale” website. Not only was Judge Patterson “senior” Secretary of War, he was also president of the New York Bar Association and the Council on Foreign Relations. You know what George Washington said about the cherry tree. The cherry doesn’t fall too far from the tree when the tree is planted inside the beltway.

Is Judge Patterson too old to be hearing cases? Hardly. You thought only Superman can leap tall buildings and tear the New York Yellow Pages in half. You’re wrong. According to fellow Judge Loretta Preska, Judge Patterson “ripped through” a 2,282 page single bound legal transcript in a single weekend. Case closed kryptonite.
