He warns that Iran holds the strategic initiative, cannot be conquered, and that the rest of the world is moving away from the U.S., with France leading 15 countries to negotiate directly with Iran for Hormuz access without Washington.
Macgregor concludes that this is merely an "intermission" and that the war will continue until the U.S. financial system buckles under $39 trillion in debt.
