The victim was held hostage inside a 24-hour supported living facility in Barking and Dagenham by Chyane Stephenson-Dielhenn, 18, from Islington, and her 16-year-old accomplice, from Tower Hamlets, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.
The pair forced their victim to snort a salt and tea bag mixture, swallow her own vomit and eat noodles soaked in urine from a bowl on the floor.
They tied the girl up, punched her and told that if she tried to escape they would kill her and her family during the attack on March 4 this year.
Jurors were shown clips, some filmed by Stephenson-Dielhenn, which illustrated the “cruel and sickening attack”.
Instead of raising the alarm, the recipients of the Snapchat videos [J4MB: Mostly if not all girls, we can assume, I think] sent in suggestions about what the girls should do to their victim next.

UK Men Under-Represented For Years And Need Equality Too

Men's human rights activist Swayne O'Pie will speak in Oxford this week on why the country needs a 'minister for men.' 

Oxford Mail: Swayne O'Pie says he has been banned from speaking by 'snowflakes' at Manchester University and in Cheltenham and has had his posters ripped down when he has tried to stage similar talks before.
He's hoping to convince Oxford of the need for the new Government position to tackle issues such as the high male suicide rate, poor educational achievement among boys and an 'epidemic of sex-related false allegations against men.'
The retired lecturer, who lives in the Cotswolds, said: "Men are the only identifiable group in Britain that does not have any representation.
"We don't want to take anything away from women but they have had a minister since 1997 and men should have the same.
"Men have the exact same issues today as we had 20 years ago.
"We seem to be a lost group in society.
"People tell me there are five times as many male MPs as female but they do not think as a group like women do - they don't do anything to represent men and boys at all."

The classics professor and broadcaster Mary Beard is well on the way to becoming a national treasure thanks to her personality and wit. She has conducted herself in an admirably courageous way against much personalised insult and nastiness, giving as good as she gets.
That doesn’t mean, however, that her judgment is flawless. Discussing Greek myths at The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival last week, she observed that men sometimes installed women in temporary positions of power so that when these women mucked it all up men could “come in on their white chargers”. This, she thought, might explain Theresa May’s rise to power. “Part of me thinks she has been set up to fail; they needed a female leader . . . to let one of them come in later to rescue her.”

Excuse me? May became prime minister only because she happened to be the last person standing on the battleground after her opponents stabbed each other in the back and themselves in the head.

As a society, we are more disconnected from one another than we have ever been before, and perhaps this is one of the big reasons why so much anger and hatred are growing all around us.  At this point, a large portion of the population doesn’t even seem to possess a basic level of empathy and compassion for their fellow citizens, and that has frightening implications for the future of our nation.

By Michael Krieger: Americans are brought up to believe all sorts of myths about the country we call home. We’re told our economy is a free market meritocracy governed by the rule of law. We’re told our civil liberties, enshrined in the Bill of Rights, are inviolable and protected by the most powerful military in the world. A fighting force entrusted with the admirable and monumental task of defending freedoms at home, and democracy and human rights abroad. We’re told we exist in a system of self-government, in which our votes matter and our voices heard. In practice, none of this is true.
The fact of the matter is American citizens in 2018 are just a nuisance for the real power players. Useful as consumers, but increasingly problematic as larger numbers start to ask questions about how things really work. For far too long, we’ve been ignorant and willing accomplices in our own bondage. This allowed the concentrated and unaccountable power that really calls the shots to go for broke in recent decades, with unsurprisingly tragic results.
Only recently have things started to shift. Increased levels of barbarism abroad and corruption at home during the 21st century — under both Republican and Democratic administrations — have shaken many Americans from a long stupor. Irrespective of where you sit on the political spectrum, most people know something’s not right. People don’t agree on the details of what’s wrong, and there’s certainly no consensus on solutions, but increasing numbers of us know something’s very broken.

A) Matriarchal society: This is a society where both political, as well as informal power, is primarily in the hands of women. This type of society has never existed.
B) Patriarchal Society: This is a society where both the informal as well as the formal political power is in the hands of men. This type of society has also never existed.
C) Gynocentric society:
It is divided into:

1. Matrilineal: This society is one where either the inheritance or finances are almost solely distributed as well as family or religious lineage is based upon the mother. It is a power dynamic which basically reflects female informal power while the political formal power still stays in the hands of men. Therefore, informal and formal power is shared between men and women. The Mosuo in China and Judaism (especially in terms of religion as well as national lineage) are two examples.
