By Caitlin Johnstone: Julian Assange’s partner Stella Moris was able to visit him with their children at Belmarsh prison for the first time since March of this year, and reports that his physical condition has deteriorated noticeably since that time.
“He was wearing a yellow armband to indicate his level of prisoner status, and you could see how thin his arms were,” Moris told the PA news agency.
“Moris said her partner is still suffering from a frozen shoulder, and had recently sprained his ankle,” PA reports.
“He is in a lot of pain,” Moris added.
This additional physical pain is just one more piece of information on top of the mountain of evidence we already had that the United States and United Kingdom are torturing a journalist who exposed US war crimes.

Infectious diseases expert and University of Edinburgh professor Mark Woolhouse acknowledged that the decision to lockdown in March was a “crude measure” that was enacted because “we couldn’t think of anything better to do.”

“Lockdown was a panic measure and I believe history will say trying to control Covid-19 through lockdown was a monumental mistake on a global scale, the cure was worse than the disease,” said Woolhouse, who is now calling on the government to unlock society before more damage is done.
“I never want to see national lockdown again,” he added.

We have a moral duty to critically examine our beliefs — especially our belief in “lockdown,” the most oppressive and universally destructive public policy implemented in our lifetimes. 
Is it the least-restrictive means available to minimize casualties in this pandemic?

By Dr. Paul Craig Roberts: The United States and the Western World fared poorly in responding to Covid for two main reasons.  One reason is Big Pharma and associated public health organizations such as NIH saw big profits in the virus.  The response to the virus was not to protect public health but to create a mass market for a profitable vaccine. 
The other reason is that liability and sanctions have stopped most doctors from thinking on their own when the safest course is to follow officially approved treatments.  Those few who did think discovered that the combination of HCQ/azithromycin/zinc dramatically reduced the death rate and severity of the virus.  To keep this information under wraps, Big Pharma called on medical researchers funded with Big Pharma grants to produce studies that found the cheap cure to be ineffectual and life-threatening.  Two prestigeous medical journals, The Lancet and the New England Journal of Medicine, were deceived by these falsified studies and had to retract them.  Big Pharma drew on its assets at NIH, CDC, WHO, and FDA to put pressure on state medical boards and associations to prohibit the successful HCQ treatment.  In the US state governors issued orders forbidding the treatment of Covid with HCQ.  Pharmacists were prohibited from filling prescriptions of the only known cure.  The epidemic raged on, and deaths mounted, creating a desperate hope and demand for a vaccine, even an untested one.
