It was as if the Continental Army had marched to Valley Forge, only to see Washington saddle up and head back home for the winter, giving his men a kind word and dismissive wave as he rode away.

First the positives. Despite widespread attempts at sabotage by NGOs, law enforcement agencies and Democrat activists, the turn-out was fantastic. In Britain and online, the absolute silence by the right-wing flagship the Daily Mail, and the sneers and absurd lies about numbers from the Guardian, Independent and the BBC, spoke volumes for how shocked the liberal elite were by the endless convoys and the vast and enthusiastic crowd. And, at the end of a great day, despite waiting until they could pick off stragglers, the paid and cowardly thugs of Antifa frequently got the painful lesson they so richly deserve.

Abu Waar was being held at the Gilboa prison in northern present-day Israel when he tested positive for the virus that causes COVID-19 in July.

He had recently been transferred between several Israeli hospitals and also underwent surgery to insert a breathing tube into his throat.

Eventually, he was taken to the Ramle prison clinic, dubbed the “slaughterhouse” by survivors due to its inadequacy as a medical facility.

Palestinian survivors group Addameer has previously invited the World Health Organization to visit prison clinics “in order to document the inadequate level of health care” following the death of another Palestinian survivor in 2018. By Gregory Hood: China is notorious for a “Social Credit System” that controls the lives of citizens, rewarding what the authorities want and punishing what they don’t. The United States has a social credit system, too, even if we don’t call it that. And ours is worse.

The Chinese system tries to build social trust. Ours destroys trust. The Chinese system defends the interests of the Han, the ethnic group that built and sustains Chinese civilization. Our system hurts whites. The Chinese system encourages charity, good citizenship, and patriotism. Ours incites hatred and spreads bitterness and division.

The Chinese government’s goals are clear: According to a 2014 planning document, the state wants to build a “social credit environment of honesty, self-discipline, trustworthiness, and mutual trust.”
