By Orwellians: On April 23, 2015, the United Nations Foundation announced the launch of its latest initiative, a partnership with the Jynwel Foundation and the Thomson Reuters Foundation with the main goals being creating and spinning green religion narratives that will positively advertise and highlight the alleged urgent need to implement the UN’s sustainable development goals and the assumed agreements to be drawn up at the climate change conference in December in Paris.

This partnership also includes the training of journalists and media professionals on how to best communicate with the world as they preach the genocidal and pedophile United Nations its climate policies.

Major UK Medical Journal Retracts Numerous Scientific Papers After Fake Peer-Review Scandal

Submitted by Tyler Durden: A major publisher of scholarly medical and science articles has retracted 43 papers because of “fabricated” peer reviews amid signs of a broader fake peer review racket affecting many more publications. As The Washington Post reports, BioMed Central - a well-known publication of peer-reviewed journals - shows a partial list of the retracted articles suggests most of them were written by scholars at universities in China. The Committee on Publication Ethics stated, it "has become aware of systematic, inappropriate attempts to manipulate the peer review processes of several journals... that need to be retracted."

Peer review is the vetting process designed to guarantee the integrity of scholarly articles by having experts read them and approve or disapprove them for publication. With researchers increasingly desperate for recognition, citations and professional advancement, the whole peer-review system has come under scrutiny in recent years for a host of flaws and irregularities, ranging from lackadaisical reviewing to cronyism to outright fraud.

By Janet Bloomfield (aka JudgyBitch): Today progressive magazine The Week recycled an old article from The Kernel about the scary “men’s rights movement”, and given the general content of The Week and the tenor of media coverage of the men’s rights movement in general, it wasn’t too rage or vomit-inducing, on the whole. The article managed to acknowledge that MRAs fall across the political spectrum, have some specific, actionable goals and generally decry violent solutions to what are essentially political problems. Typically, the article refuses to acknowledge the participation of women in the MHRM, throwing a bone to the fabulous Karen deCrow, and letting feminists take credit for an uncharacteristically decent, humane woman amongst their ranks.
The author, unsurprisingly, completely misses the point when it comes to discussing the power differential (both imagined and actual) between women and men. I have noticed this to be very typical. It’s hard to rank male feminist assholes, since they tend to be consistently stupid, obtuse, irrational and utterly blind to their own hatefulness. If this were a footrace, the male feminists would all be behind the starting line, attempting to determine whose transgender superhero underpants signified peak obsequiousness. The sound of the starting gun would trigger them into a sobbing mess of puppy and Playdoh and coloring book trauma victims – jazz hands, please!
