I got this letter from our doc’s office today, concerning our 3-year-old daughter.
The letter is now on social media, and—I hope—circulating here in Canada. No matter how much I want not to share this, I think it’s highly important.
I have to distance myself from this doctor being “our doctor.” I’m disgusted.

He was very charismatic and lovable, he loved to make silly faces and always has a funny joke to tell, to make everyone laugh. He was an amazing big brother to his two younger siblings Ella and Emmit, who always looked up to him and followed his guidance. Felix was also very adventurous in sports. He loved to play Baseball, Soccer, catch and many other outdoor activities. He loved to ride on the ATV’s, and s’mores around the campfire. But most of all Felix loved to collect Pokemon cards. He is going to be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his Dad, Mom, Siblings, Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles. Felix also leaves to mourn his cousins and many other extended family and friends.

Ontario - After fiercely fighting for 8 months against cancer, Cash Paul George McMillan passed away at home surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, August 17th 2022 at the age of 15. He was a thoughtful, moral, and gentle-natured young man. He approached his fight with quiet determination, and at times with his quirky sense of humour. Cash had his army behind him led by his parents, the oncologist team at McMaster Children’s Hospital and all his close family and friends. Cancer may have claimed his life, but he kept his soul true to the last breath. He will be profoundly missed by his loving parents, his dear sister and by his proud grandparents.

Portage-la-Prairie - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alisha Ousman Darar on August 6, 2022 at the age of 17 years. Alisha spent much of her life residing in the Portage la Prairie area, she attended Yellowquill School during her younger years and most recently attended Portage Collegiate for high school. Alisha was known for being fun, having a great sense of humor, and being a loveable person with no fears. Growing up Alisha enjoyed Brownies, 4H Club, Hip-Hop dance classes, and attending Diabetes Camp each summer. Alisha showed great enjoyment listening to music, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with those she loved. She was a social person who loved meeting people wherever she went, she would make people feel valued and loved. Alisha was always able to make others laugh or smile through her clever remarks and conversations. Her ambitions as she neared adulthood included pursuing counselling type work to help youth who may have had similar experiences as herself, she showed great ability and enjoyment working with both children and seniors. She is survived by her siblings, mother, father as well as her grandmother. Alisha’s connection to her extended family, including their extended family, will be forever cherished.

It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of their baby boy Dezzy on August 20, 2022. Dezzy was a very happy baby. He loved being with his parents and brother and especially loved spending time with his sister. He loved his daily visits at Kokum and Papa’s house. Going for car rides were always a favourite. He always loved getting comfy and cuddling momma, and love to “chill” with dad. He was the family’s pride and joy. He will always be remembered for his big sweet smile. He brought happiness to everyone’s day and everyone who met him instantly fell in love with him. Oromocto - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Skyler Dawn Foster on August 20, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at the IWK Health Centre. Full of smiles, laughter, jokes, a positive and strong spirit, Skyler carried an aura of love and fun, causing everyone who knew her and were around her to be in such a good and loving mood. She never wanted anyone to be upset, so she took it upon herself to brighten everyone’s day. Unicorns, rainbows, race cars, monster trucks and motorcycles were some of her favourites. She loved animals, and had several close to her heart at home. Family was very important to Skyler, and it showed with her kind and thoughtful gestures to them. She will be greatly missed by her parents, siblings, paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, best friend, as well as many close friends and extended family.

Terfry, Kai Arthur -Millbrook. “Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart” A.A.Milne. We are sad to announce that our son, Kai Arthur Terfry was taken way too soon by the angels on August 18, 2022. Kai passed at his home in Millbrook in the loving arms of his mother. Kai was born on June 25, 2022, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Kai gave us a lifetime of love in his short seven weeks with us. He was loved by everyone that had the pleasure of meeting him. Kai was just beginning to notice the world around him with his big dark blue eyes. His mom and dad will miss Aunt saying, “ bring the baby down so we can hold him,” every morning and cousin insisting she go to Kai’s room to see him and wrap her arms around him if just for a quick kiss. Mom and Dad know his grandfather and grandmothers in heaven will be watching over him until we can all be together someday.He will be dearly missed by his parents and brother.
