Why Nobody Can Trust Facebook

'Can you imagine the horseshit they feed their credulous clients in private?'
CreateSend: It becomes harder and harder to overstate the corruption and treachery of the online ad industry. Lord knows I've tried.
Among its other accomplishments, Facebook has become famous for its lunatic metrics and bizarre rationalizations.
You would think a company that built its business on the promise of putting sophisticated data to work for advertisers would have the sense not to release numbers that are patently ridiculous.
But time and again Facebook has undermined its credibility by making claims that are easily proven to be false, and then defended these claims with statements that are absurd.
This week it was reported that Facebook was claiming to reach 41 million Americans between the ages of 18-24. If Facebook reached every American between 18 and 24 they'd still be 10 million short. There are only 31 million of them.

We Need To Admit The Government Story About 9/11 Is Bullshit

It wasn’t just me of course. It was an entire nation that was callously manipulated in the aftermath of that tragedy. The courage and generosity exhibited by so many New Yorkers and others throughout the country and indeed the world was rapidly transformed into terrifying fear. Fear that was intentionally injected repeatedly into our daily lives. Fear that translated into pointless wars and countless deaths. Fear that was used to justify the destruction of our precious civil rights. Fear that was used to initiate a gigantic power grab and the source of tremendous profits for the corporate-statists and crony-capitalsits. Unfortunately, that is the greatest legacy of 9/11. –  Michael Krieger.
By Michael Krieger: Unless we come to terms with 9/11 and the obvious fact that the official government story is a ridiculous fairytale, it’ll be hard for our nation to move forward in an intelligent, courageous and ethical manner. Many of the most destructive trends which have defined our post September 11, 2001 environment, such as a loss of civill liberties and endless barbaric wars of aggression abroad, have been directly related to our false understanding of that awful terrorist attack. As I’ve always maintained, I have no idea what really went down on that day, I just know that the U.S. government and its intelligence agencies are not being honest.

Canada Jailing The Innocent : Bill C-51 + Betsy DeVos Is On The Right Side Of History

"A provision that in a sex assault cases, texts or even hand written notes must uniquely be submitted prior to the trial! ..You must disclose to your accuser and their lawyer so that prior to the trial they can migrate and manipulate the accusation around it! ...They're trying to [wo]manipulate reality so that their fake rape epidemic becomes true! ...They will get more convictions of innocent men going to jail, families destroyed, children losing their parents and homes, because their parents are rendered destitute by this!" Said johntheother.

The Death Of Neoliberalism

-Lowkey-

The Utility Of Racism

That Guy T said. "I believe that people presume racism to be an implicit social evil for two reasons, the first being the presentation of racism as a bad thing and the second being what I would describe as an uncharitable defining of the term. ...Whenever we hear racism from an American perspective, we assume KKK, Nazis, Jim Crow, police brutality, etc., we associate it with abuse, wrong doing, hatred and so on. ...You can be a Nazi and a racist, but being racist doesn't make you a Nazi. ...First thing that should be explained is that prejudice, discrimination and even antagonism, aren't always bad things."

If You Don’t See That Washington Is Driving To War With Russia You Are A Dumbshit American

'The American people should be extremely concerned that theirgovernmen is crazy off the scale.'
By Stephen Lendman: In response to the Trump administration’s illegal seizure and search of Russian diplomatic properties in San Francisco, a total violation of diplomatic immunity, Vladimir Putin responded to a reporter’s question, saying “Trump is not my bride, and I am not his bride or groom.” He and other Russian officials remain understandably furious. US government hostility toward Russia is unrelenting.
At the weekly press briefing of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova commented on the deplorable action, mocking State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert’s explanation, including Nauert’s claim that Washington seeks normal relations with Moscow.
“How does the illegality that is happening on the territory of the Russian Federation building, which formerly housed the Russian General Consulate in San Francisco, contribute to normalizing the situation,” Zakharova asked?
“Why are agents of the US government whom we do not know and whom we have not invited violating our property for who knows what reason? Do these illegal intrusions also ‘contribute to the normalization of bilateral relations?'” “Who sent them there? For what purpose? What are they doing there? Why do they feel like they can make themselves at home there?

Can Women Do Everything Without Men?

"I think feminism is a bunch of garbage,
I think it's written to brainwash women into believing they can do it all on their own and the big bad world is out there to hate them. Well the world doesn't,
you know, not all men hate women!"
Said Crystal Wright.

Stax And Stax Of Aural Pleasure!

By Angelo Agathangelou: As far as we are concerned, there are all the other commercial headphones ever conceived and then there are Stax, ...OK, OK and the Sennheiser Orpheus, but that's a cool UK£37,500, not to everyone's taste so no better in our opinion than a well chosen Stax combination costing less than UK£5000, with a second headphone into the bargain!

Clearly I have some news for my fellow audio fanatics out there based on having had the opportunity to spend a day with all the top level Stax 'ear speakers' and most of the associated 'energisers’. I have only two further items to check to make my own final decision on which two Stax Stereo Sophia and I will finally settle on and that is the Trilogy and Stax SRM-T8000 Hybrid energisers which unfortunately were out on loan, but those aside, here is my take on back to back testing of Stax 500, 700, 007, 009 'ear speakers' with SRM-353X, SRM-006tS and Stax SRM-007tII, all 'Kimik' Edition energisers. ...I also got to test these back to back with Audeze LCD4, 3 and XC, also Focal Utopia and HD800s Ether Flow, among others pretty much covering all the bases of what people are calling the best of the best and all in one room against Trilogy headphone amps and Chord Dave, Hugo2 and Mojo. ...It's against that background that we feel that Stax beat all-comers to a pulp.

Does Porn Really Destroy Relationships?

By : In 1989, researchers Kenrick, Gutierres, and Goldberg published a powerful study examining the impact of pornography on relationships and attraction. In the study, subjects were exposed to photos from Playboy and other types of erotica. Subjects who had viewed these nude images then found other women—especially their wives—to be less attractive. The subjects also reported that they were actually less in love with their wives after viewing the pornographic images.
This research has been heavily cited in academic literature, but also in general media discussions of the effects of pornography. The fact that porn could make men feel less attraction and less love for their wives is commonly used as a foundation for arguments against it. But while the idea that porn leads men to compare their wives to unrealistic ideals is a concern cited by activists and spouses, new research reveals that porn no longer appears to have this effect—if it ever did.
You may be aware of the ongoing “replication crisis” in social-science research. In essence, recent research has attempted to replicate some of the hallmark findings of some heavily-cited, influential research in psychology and the social sciences. Surprisingly, attempts to replicate many of these research findings have failed, suggesting that in many cases, the original studies were limited by statistical strategies, methodological flaws, or just over-interpretation by enthusiastic researchers eager to publish sensational findings in an academic market that feeds on hype.
