Iran's Leader Criticizes West's Attitude Toward Women
Ayatollah Khamenei said the West's materialistic approach has paved the way for an oppressive and regressive attitude toward women. He noted that the West has misunderstood women and globalized its ideas through an extensive media hype.
Iran's leader referred to international conventions on human rights, saying the West's insistence on such misunderstandings would mislead the minds of people across the globe. He highlighted the differences between men and women, noting that despite what the West claims, equality between men and women is not fair. Ayatollah Khamenei said adopting a logical and accurate approach towards women requires discarding the West's faulty presuppositions.
