Yul Tolbert is a person who can really appreciate being "different." Because being like everybody else is insufficient for his short attention span. As such, he has interests in things like science, Esperanto, computer animation, alternate history and the resource based economy. Life is mostly boring according to his current way of thinking because "society" puts too much emphasis on doing things that have been done to death.

Also, he has a very high regard for self-expression. In fact, he would talk and talk and talk and never shut up if he had his way. But since he can't always have his way, he reluctantly tends to be silent. And he hates being silent! How about giving him an excuse to talk and talk and talk and never shut up?!

Not Your Utility!

JKream: Like a faint whimper in the darkness, Jan likes to reside backstage. He keeps his voice down and spends his time working the cogs, or at least, painting the cogs in pretty colors. Jan does any art or music that he’s told to do, and leaves the real activism to the professionals, for even the most competent of wordsmiths needs suggestible followers who are easily swayed by pretty colors.
