The problem is identity politics.
This is by no means limited to any one group. It includes atheists and theists, MGTOW and MRAs, feminists and anti-feminists. Indeed, all identities are susceptible to it. But in this video we see a couple of examples of the most rabid lunatic fundamentalists of identity politics you'll ever see. In short, this is what happened:
I'm an advocate.
"What activism have you done?"
I said I'm an advocate.
Why do you call yourself an activist?
I'm an ADVOCATE.
"What can't you answer a simple question? Stop calling yourself an activist!
I AM AN ADVOCATE.
"You are what I say you are! And how dare you be what I say you are!"
It is one thing to automatically dismiss a person because of their identity, but to dismiss someone because of a label you slapped on them against their will, is the stuff of evil stuck out of time. It's "Pick up the gun. Pick up the gun! (BANG) You all saw him, he had a gun." You are exactly that insane and sadistic. More, in fact. I'm not even picking up the gun. You're just pretending I am.
Nowhere do we see this more than in the sickness of anti-men's rights word-trickery. There is no depth of lexical fraud to which people won't stoop, in the service of ridding the world of the concept of men's rights. And this video just shows you the radicals. The moderate approach is just as insidious.
"I'm not a men's rights advocate because I don't want to be involved in any movements."
....Except Gamergate.
"Well, I just don't like political identities."
...Except Liberal.
"Well, I just don't want a gender-based label."
...Except Anti-feminist.
It's just bullshit on top of bullshit, whatever will stick. The only answer that actually makes sense here is "I'm not a men's rights advocate because I don't advocate for men's rights."
But for some reason you can't say that. Even if it's true.
So you just keep spinning the spaghetti until you can escape the conversation and erase your memory of all the blatant lies you just told, so you can tell them all again fresh the next time. Remind you of anyone? Yeah, those people you don't like.
And it's no coincidence that the charge of "You guys never get anything done" seldom comes from people who understand the value of getting things done. It comes from people who by their own standards are doing fuck all; They just write comments on the internet, and not even to help people, just to shit on their own. They sit in their swivel chairs, whingeing and telling everyone else to do nothing but sit and whinge, then when someone stands up and tries to do something, they yell "Stop that! You never do anything! You just sit and whinge!"
Yes, folks. That terrifying degree of sheer lack of self awareness is indeed possible. It's all around us. There are sick people everywhere. They never learned to better themselves and they feel no burden to. Their only path to satisfaction is to bring other people down, and they will stop at nothing to do it. They will destroy language and unravel reason. The more effort we make, the more they shit on us. Because they can't bear the truth that they're lazy spongiform nihilists who gave up on life a long time ago.
