Mike Buchanan: This is a predictably biased BBC report, but with some valuable contributions from American intactivists. Anyone listening to the programme would get little sense of the physical harm that always results from the procedure, nor any sense of the psychological harm that results. No mention is made of the many mutilations and deaths that have resulted. Little mention is made of ethical issues, no mention is made of legal issues.
