Jimmy Dore: Donald Trump has lost the civil case of sexual assault brought against him by E. Jean Carroll, and will now have to pay her $5 million, pending appeal. But did you know that this case could only be brought thanks to a recent amendment to New York statutes pushed by Democrats and Carroll herself and without this legislative “fix” the statute of limitations for the lawsuit would have run out?
