Sasha Yanshin: The United States and the United Kingdom have just signed a trade deal that makes trade between the two countries worse than before the tariff war started.
As it stands, the 10% tariff on UK imports to the US will remain on the majority of imports and the potential of the US expansion into the UK market is small.
And the worst bit is that this deal confirms that the new tariffs are here to stay and are not going away.
