Israel brings Gaza doctrine back to Dahiya, with Roqayah Chamseddine
Since the United States and Israel launched their war aiming to topple the government of Iran on 28 February, Lebanon has once again become a major frontline of confrontation.
On 2 March, resistance group Hizballah launched rockets and drones against Israeli military targets.
This followed the US-Israeli killing of Iran’s leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and more than 10,000 Israeli violations of a so-called ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon signed in November 2024.
We speak with Roqayah Chamseddine from Beirut. She is a southern Lebanese researcher and reporter for The Cradle and co-host of the Delete Your Account Podcast.
She has also been forcibly displaced from her home amid intensifying Israeli attacks.
