That statement simply reflects Andrew's age. As a founder member of Father's For Justice [F4J] who was campaigning over quarter of a century ago for father's rights in Britain I can assure you that men have been the brunt of the lame stream media's jokes for at least half a century, or more.
As a good friend of the great Erin Pizzey, RIP, I can report that that great women who founded the Shelter movement in 1971 was threatened with death by feminists for daring to offer shelter to battered men after she quickly learned through her experience that so-called battered women were frequently more violent than their men.
From the British classic comedy show George and Mildred, to the US animation the Simpsons men have been portrayed as idiots, contemptible, just as today it's rare to see a white couple in an advert in our white nation.
Men have long been under attack, long been the loser in the gender war and it's been way more than 20, or even 40 years.
