Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson joins Jimmy Dore and explains that the US has no viable military path to victory in the Iran war, as the U.S. lacks ground forces to invade Iran's million-man army, cannot assemble troops anywhere without them being devastated by Iranian missiles, and is running out of precision munitions like Tomahawks and JASSMs because rebuilding them requires rare earth minerals controlled by China. He notes that Iran has built underground facilities capable of withstanding nuclear blasts and continues producing missiles, and that US air and naval options are limited since ships must stay 200 miles offshore to avoid being hit.

Johnson further reveals that Russia and China are coordinating with Gulf states to "expel the United States from the Persian Gulf," and that Saudi Arabia shut down US airspace for Trump's "Project Freedom" after consulting with China and Pakistan. He concludes that Iran's five non-negotiable demands for ending the war include recognition of Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz, an end to the war on Palestinians and the Lebanese, reparations, and the return of frozen assets—and that economic disaster, with gas potentially reaching $9-10 per gallon and fertilizer shortages crippling agriculture, will force Trump to accept them.
