“Antisemite” Slur Has Officially Lost All Its Power!

We all knew it, but now apparently it's official.

Jimmy Dore and Kurt Metzger criticize opponents of a reported U.S.–Iran peace framework, arguing that some pro-Israel commentators reflexively label supporters of diplomacy as “anti-Semites” or “racists” rather than engaging with the substance of the agreement. The segment focused on reactions from conservative commentator Eric Erickson and journalist Glenn Greenwald, with Jimmy claiming that accusations of anti-Semitism are being overused against critics of Israeli government policy.

The two argue that backing a peace deal and opposing further military conflict should not be equated with hostility toward Jewish people, while Greenwald was cited as saying that some activists “have no discourse other than to scream racist and anti-Semite at everyone who disagrees with them.” The discussion also touched on broader debates over free speech, U.S. foreign policy, Israel, Iran, and the political effectiveness of repeatedly invoking accusations of anti-Semitism.
