ToI: Russian President Vladimir Putin attended the final stage of the Centre-2026 strategic military exercise in the Chelyabinsk region as Moscow showcases its military capabilities amid the ongoing Ukraine war and tensions with the West. Russia says more than 47,000 personnel are involved, with troops from seven foreign countries and observers from 51 nations. The drills feature missile ships, fighter jets, airborne forces, coastal defence systems, marine drones and simulated strikes across land, sea and air.
