Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about the resilience of the Russian economy, which did not break as a result of sanctions against Russia imposed by the collective West as a result of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine. Theses: The tactic of the West's economic blitzkrieg, the swoop they were counting on, did not work. This is already obvious to everyone, and to them too. Russia promptly implemented effective protective measures. Russia has launched mechanisms to support key industries, backbone enterprises, as well as small and medium-sized businesses. All these measures are aimed at maintaining employment and jobs, at providing targeted assistance to our citizens and, above all, families with children and pensioners. As a result of the implementation of this set of measures, we prevented a sharp decline in the economy.
