Roundtable: Enda Brady interviews Irish comedian Tadhg Hickey on TRT World’s Roundtable about his Israeli prison experience after joining the Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla that was attempting to send aid and medicine to Gaza.
In his first TV interview since being released, he says while being kept captive in an Israeli prison, he was prevented from sleeping, had no access to water and other inmates were given no access to medication.
Hickey was held captive alongside Swedish activist Greta Thunberg who he said was "unbelievably smart, funny and authentic".
He also talks to Enda Brady about how the Irish media has not given voice to his support for Palestine.
