Trump claims America has 'almost total control' of Hormuz as if that is actually some measure of an achievement. Meanwhile, actual ships are still hiding, Oman is still playing marriage counsellor with Tehran, and the tanker crisis is still hanging around like a bad smell.
CENTCOM insists their strike stopped Iranian mine-laying, but did Trump’s fireworks display actually make the world’s most important oil corridor safer, or just hand Iran a brand new excuse to show him up for the mad old fraud he is? Well, it leans towards the latter because if Trump was winning anything here, why did he whip up an AI-generated Kharg Island victory video? If you’re genuinely winning, you shouldn’t need AI to ‘prove it’ do you?
